  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Huddleston's Build Thread

When you removed your license plate holder there was only 2 holes right? I need to remove my plate holder and then attach the plate straight to the car. I got to talk to a body shop about doing a complete debadge like yours when I get home in 3 weeks. I'm like 99 percent sure I'm doing it now. Everyone thinks I own a Chrysler and it's starting to pissing me off lol.

yes, mine never had a dealer plate frame.

A few from the other night. Exhaust cut outs going in tomorrow!

lol - exhaust clip coming this week followed by a high quality video about the car in a few weeks.

Really like the front end shot you posted. Car looks really good with bikes on the roof rack. In for the exhaust cutout vids. Be interesting to see if they sound any different than the first gen 5.0 with the cutouts.

they were installed so that its basically an open header when open. all controlled with a remote control.

you guys are going to love it!

The weld on the bottom left side where the cutout connects to the factory system doesn't look like it penetrated but is just on the outer surface. Hopefully this isn't the case and you don't have any leaks at the joints.

Hoping they weren't complete yet, just looking out for ya. Yeah people always wanting pics.

I would definitely run a bore scope or extendable mirror & flash light down inside before they install them after they complete the welds just to make sure there is proper penatration. Thank You for the update an pics. Can't wait for the video. :D
