  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Isn't the i4 the same motor as the Caliber SRT-4 and Evo X.

Now I know they aren't identical..but similar.

it's based on the same "world motor" or whatever you call it.

the idea of me wanting a genesis is to get something that looks sick, but without all the modding with turbo's and shit.

i'd just about have to go with the V6 and get an auto. if i wanted to keep messing with turbo's i'd just keep the STi.

How much power is the v6 supposed to have? I forgot but it would be nice to have a FEW ... just a few ... mods to accommodate a nice all motor beauty.

so wait that means you would be doing away of the box?

or just adding to your arsenal?

i'd trade the STi, keep the XB and kepp the Sunfire.

i'm just in the market for something sleek, quick, comfortable and affordable. the Gensis Coupe is all of those things plus sexy as all hell. i would get it auto also in order to "attempt" myself from modding the piss out of it.

i REALLY wanna know what kind of tuning capabilities it will have. if you can open source tune the ECU's i'm all for modding the hell out of an automatic, HAHA !!!!

ported head, ported intake manifold, throttle body, exhaust and a tune would prolly make 320+ to the ground, i think.

p.s.
i heard the coupes were gonna weigh in a 3300lbs. almost exactly what the STi weighs in at.
