Is there a way to marry a key to your personal settings?

I've had my G70 for about a week. I haven't figured out how to marry my key to my settings and my husband's key to his settings. Any tips?

I haven't looked too hard. I was acutally looking just now. I have looked in the printed manual and haven't found anything...hence my question if it's even possible.

It is possible...that I know 100%. Try looking under the section that talks about seat memory. Or...if not there...where it talks about the key fob.

That was tedious. I'll just go read my manual in English in the car

Want the seat, mirrors, etc. to remember which key the setting belong to. So when my husband drives it, it sets the settings to him. So far it's not doing that.

It's a combination of setting everything up...then setting the memory button in the car. At that point to take the key fob that you want associated and do something with it...but forgot what. Salesguy in Toronto showed me...but I was too busy feeling up the seats.

I never suggested something so stupid when I know you have a physical manual. Why would I do that? Seriously...I didn't.

Then you are going to have to set them with your memory buttons in the driver door. On the G80 there are two buttons on the door panel along with a memory button. Set your desired positions then press the memory button and the number you choose 1 or 2. The next time you seat yourself in the vehicle press the same number and you will be positioned in the proper settings. The FOB doesn't have any capacity to remember these settings. The seating, mirror, steering wheel positions are directly connected with the buttons located on the drivers door. There is no pairing the Key Fob.

Actually no, you have control over what you decide to do. Just attempting to give you options, help and suggestions. The reason you can't find it in the manual; what you are asking for after you explained your purpose and intent doesn't exist, unless it is completely different from other 2018/19 Genesis automobiles.

it's NOT available in the G80 (or the G90 to my knowledge) so it is natural to assume it isn't available in the G70 either.

post up the G70 manual pages that prove Spanky wrong..

I will read the manual tonight and try to find the info. I don't have them on me at the moment
