No streaming in the Tech, only (I've heard) in the touchscreen version.
But you can play your iTunes music by plugging in the iPod/iPhone cord provided by Hyundai ($30?). With that you can also play Internet radio stations, Pandora, etc. All while charging your device.
This is correct. Tech package only supports BTW hands-free profile.
So you're saying that you simply sit in your car with the bluetooth turned on in your phone and you're able to push "Aux" and stream music from your phone to the car? Mine doesn't recognize an "Aux" source unless it's plugged in.I have a 2011 3.8 base, and with my 3Gs, updated to the 5.0 software, it streams music via bluetooth just fine. The sound quality is not as good as when the phone is plugged in through the earphone jack.

To ROinRaleigh,
I bought my car on 12/30 in Apex, NC at Johnson Hyundai. Based on this Bluetooth audio thing, I'm pretty happy with my choice of the Premium only pkg. Still, I envy your Tech pkg with 17 spks vs my 14, your lighted logo door sills, your electric parking brake, etc. What I envy most of all is your leather that smells like leather!![]()
Yes, except I select the MP3 option instead of AUX.
I discovered this by accident. I started to play a song, but had not yet plugged in the aux connection, and was surprised to hear music. Seems that when I am connected via bluetooth, it also makes the connection via Apple Airplay. Under the Airplay selection I was pleasantly surprised to see Genesis as one of the choices!
I really hope this works on my 2011 4.6 w/premium and tech package. Running out to the parking lot now to see. Crossing fingers!!!
I do not think it will... He said 3.8 Base which actually supports A2DP streaming tech packages do not...
I doubt it will either. Someone explain to me though, how that makes sense? A lesser package has more features?
