Just drove brand new 2013 BMW 5 series, but Genesis!!!!

Bought a pearl white r-spec a few months back. Had my first service today. The dealer gave me a free loaner for life (as well as free airport parking and shuttle service since they are close), but I spent a couple of minutes in the service lounge while they brought the loaner (nice 2010 4.6) around. Place had lots of comfy stuffed leather chairs, nice big TV, great coffee, and very high speed wireless. I agree with $0, as I don't see what more I would need.

BTW, the GM of the dealership even offered to pick up, drop off a loaner, and bring it back, and I'm quite a ways out.. I'm pretty impressed to say the least.

If they did that the current Hyundai Genesis Sedans would be the Genesis BH380, Genesis BH460, BH500, etc. That is how it works in Korea and is why there are no Hyundai badges on the Korean Genesis (and is why we can import the KDM Genesis badges and rebadge our Genesis sedans without the H).

I ordered the BH3800 chrome emblem off eBay and didn't use the last 0. It's now on my trunk lid as a BH380. It was kinda funny when someone at my local dealership asked me where I bought that model.

but the majority of bmw owners wouldn't dare be seen in a Hyundai.

All manufacturers are stepping up their game... Honda maybe not.

Hyundai really needs to branch off the luxury division.

So I ask the masses... how much would you spend for lexus like service ?

myself a reasonable number is +$2000 on the invoice.

Would you and many other Genesis owners have been willing to spend another $8-10k on the Genesis?

B/c that how much a separate luxury brand/dealer network and luxury service would have added to the price.

If Hyundai had followed that route, they would have been in the same boat as Infiniti w/ the M and Lexus w/ the GS, if not worse.

then add 2 BMW M badges to the
panel just behind the front wheel arches.
(one each side)..Beemer & other exotic owners will gawp, the Hyundai tech will scratch his head' and like me your nose can be continually up in the air. Best of all the M badges make the car a lot quicker..
