  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I recently replace my RSpec headlight housing with the KDM LED housing. It was very straight but the AFLS is not working. The computer reads that the AFLS is not communicating. I am just wondering if any one might have an answer. Please help. Thanx a million.

Unfortunately, it looks like the AFLS may have to be recalibrated for the headlight change. I looked through my service manual for the 09 models and Adaptive lights have a whole calibration section depending on the fault code that is shown. Hopefully, it is something as simple as a loose connection somewhere.Do all the other functions of the lights work ? Also this maybe a stupid question, but did you disconnect the negative battery terminal before installing the lights ? If not I would try that first. Also I would find what fault code is shown and that may help as well. Good Luck.

Thank u for the advise. I will try it and hopefully it works.

I can tell you from experience that any change in the headlights have to be
recalibrated with the computer. I had to replace a damaged headlight and that's what happened. It requires the computer communication for the AFLS to function, and if I can use computer speak, the new headlight becomes a peripheral that is not recognized by the computer, so doesn't function. A Hyundai service tech can do this for you, so it looks like it's time to visit the dealer.

Where did you get them?

I ask my in-laws from Korea to send it. They look really nice, but still trying to figure out how to make the AFLS work.

I already have the Hyundai tech tried a couple of different ways. So far nothing is working. They told me Mobis in Korea might able to help but I have no way of contacting them.

Can you take & post some pics of these lights , thanks

I thought these were OEM lights for your specific model. I can only attest to what I had to go through with the OEM replacement lights.

Can someone teach me how to post picture vis IPad. Thanx.

Can't wait to see these photos. Those LED headlights are just beautiful!

Yeah, please post pictures as I've been wanting to add this to my 2012.

You can upload photos when uploading attachments or going to the gallery.

I have only this picture available at this time. More clear image to come!

I love it! Does everything function correctly? I'm going to look into purchasing them soon even though they are pretty pricy.

Well i for one would love a set of those on my 2009 4.6 V8, does anyone know if they have em for my car in the U.S or in Korea. Thanks
