  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

UPDATE- There is no update. I still have not received mine. I just sent a message to the eBay seller to see what's up.

thank You, I ordered two units from 2 different sellers, let's see what happens.

Cool..

I'm also thinking of getting just the rear Emblem..

I got the rear and the front. Spoke to the seller in Korea, he says they connect to the braking lights and accesories, etc. They are not always on, only when you pressed the breaks, at least this is what he says.

maybe there is a way to turn them on with the headlights or something like that. I am not sure.

Maybe mine is not far behind then.

It would be simple to attach the +12 wire (likely a red wire) to any switched source desired. Brake, run light, etc. And on the front, it is easy to find the headlight +12vdc wire and attach the emblem to it.

Mine arrived today. Time to get to work :)

Just wire the 12v to an illumination power source. Taillight harness is perfect place for rear emblem. What I used on my older genesis when wiring my air ride system.

Just out of curiosity has anyone found a PDF of the service manual for the 2015 models?

Not a PDF, only the online version. I have paid for a 1 year license to it. It is VERY detailed and I've used it many times.

Installled the front emblem today. really simple. Here's the process--

1. Remove the old emblem and any leftover sticky stuff.

2. The LED lit emblem is a bit smaller than the stock one, do be sure to clean up the area really well.

3. The wire that powers the LED will nicely fit through the larger hole.

4. Make sure you use some 3M stickum prep after using some alcohol to really clean the area.

5. Wiring... the most simple place to wire into is the headlight connector M07 on the drivers side. Here's the diagram of the connector. Tap into the black on pin 1 and the red on pin 5. Bada bing, bada boom.

6. And enjoy the results----

Trunk finished. Once you figure out how to remove the black covering, it goes quickly. The shop manual describes it pretty well.

This emblem from the supplier was the larger size and the stickum was not as good.

As you can see, I went ahead and drilled a 3rd hole for the wiring (the other two are where the flying H was located).

The wiring was simple. I tapped the license plate light wires. Peel back the protective tape, add the positaps, and it works. I did tie wrap and protect the junction.
