  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is the second time this happened to me, one side completely blown and the other side with only 2 led white lights left.

I think when I installed it the first time, I broke where the lights (the rubber, and black piece) as it seems to be loose and not in place.

Yesterday, when I checked I noticed moisture was in there and a little water (rained the whole day), could this be why they keep blowing out on me? I switched them back to OEM ones for now.

Should I go to the dealer and get brand new parts for the lights as I don't think the whole black piece that holds the light should be really wiggly?

Had mine in there since the second night. High quality LED's from VLEDs and haven't had any issues...

Pull the trunk liner off and look at the bulb holder assembly. you should be able to fix it yourself in 15 minutes. Also pictures of the "damage" would help...

Fellow AcuraZiner!

Which light from VLED did you use?

Heat buildup? The enclosure seems to be very warm after the lights have been on a while.... just a thought.
