Getting familiar with the group...
Alright, here's a strange one for you. I replaced my license plate festoons with Cree 6418 LED's. They looked great. After driving around for a little I saw my cars reflection. The LED strip in the headlight was out. I thought the bulb in the front was blown and was going to take it to Hyundai to be replaced...which was odd to me for a 2014. However, yesterday evening my girlfriend pointed out that my tail light was out as well. Both lights on the same side. At the same time, the new LED in the plate was out. I removed the bulb, the tail light and LED in the headlight came back on. I touched the new LED to the posts inside the socket for the license plate, once it made contact the new LED lit up then went off and so did the taillight and LED in the front. So I figured the bulb was defective. I removed it and left only one LED in which is bright enough to light the plate on it's own. I arrived home a few minutes ago and saw my passenger side tail light and LED are out now. I'm confused as to what's happening because of these LED's. They're amazing LED's and I wish I could use them. Has this happened to anyone else or am I the lucky one? My car looks like it's suffered from a stroke, in that only one side works and the other only works minimally.
