Light out in steering wheel ??

I just bought a 2013 Genesis 3.8 with the Tech package.

I am so happy, I love the car, has 44k miles on it. Just have a couple of questions that my fellow Genesis members might be able to answer for me before the warranty ends.

1. Is the "DISP" light in the steering wheel supposed to illimunate in blue like the all the other buttons in the steering wheel, or does the DISP light not supposed to light up ?

2. It sounds like the sub-woofer is blown, whenever a song comes on with bass, there is a lot of rattling coming from the back of the car. Will Hyundai replace that speaker ?

3. Firmware updates to the radio/phone/navigation screen ? Will they update the firmware under warranty ?

Warranty does not cover system firmware or map updates unfortunately.
I have 2 lights on my steering wheel that are out as well.
I too would like to know if hyundai warranty covers this.

I don't believe that speakers are warranty items (at least not with 44,000 miles)

You should have tested the radio before buying.

Navigation updates are rarely needed.

Radio, DVD and navigation are normally covered for 3 years, 36,000 miles unless you buy an extended warranty.

Was this car a CPO from a Hyundai dealer???

I just checked my 2014 and all of the Buttons on the steering wheel are lit a deep blue color.
