LA Genesis, I know that you were one of the more demanding owners of the first gen. I'd be interested in hearing your review of the 2nd gen when you have had some time with it.
I have a Ford Sync system as well as my new Genesis and I can say that I have found this issue with both. Nav on the fly, forget it. Maybe in the future, but I haven't seen one I like yet. The Google search on the other hand is quite useful. I thought it was a gimmick, but it really does integrate into the Nav and phone nicely.Aquineas: As you observed, I can't say much about the car since I have only owned it one week. I tied to be very unbiased when I spoke about my 2012. It was not a reliable car. Had it in the shop for a week during the first six months of ownership. Radio was a nightmare. But there were many good things to say about that car, too.
Initial impression of 2015: The voice control for NAV and radio functions is poor. Commands are not understood. But my overall impression so far is the 2015 is a remarkable car. Much more refined than the first generation G. everything feels upgraded. I'm very impressed at this point.
How much did you pay, before TT&L?
