  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi. I saw this earlier but now I can not find it. It was a video of a 2015 Geny with the four way emergency flashers on. The view was from the front and from the back. The were sequential LED's and I am sure it was stock. Can a new owner give it a try and possibly Video the event. Thanks, If they work the way I suspect they do you will be impressed.

I believe what your noticing is some sort of visual effect due to the quality of camera recording the video, the emergency flashers aren't on. I noticed this happening on my Galaxy S4 while trying to take pictures of the eyelashes, when viewed by your eyes they are definitely not moving..same thing for the taillights, they don't pulse nor change to a reddish/yellow when applied as can be seen in a few nights shots of them I posted in another thread. The emergency flashers are your two front blinkers closest to the grill in front (which is also your DRL's) and in the rear they are the long LED strips that run directly under the taillights.

Thanks for the very informative explanation. Too bad, I really liked the active light show.

Maybe they are turning on and off (in a sequential manner so all of them are not on at the same time), but the human eye cannot notice it, where a camera can? Just a guess.

Movies recorded on real film are really a series of 24 still pictures per second, but when played back on a film projector, the human eye perceives it as continuous motion.
