kefinaa, I wouldn't mess with the download. When available, request the SD card. They mail it to you quickly and it is a lot easier to install them trying to deal with extracting the files and writing them to an SD card.

I have it on excellent authority that 14.5 will bring AA/CP to ALL models, include full integration between Google Maps/Waze/etc. with the HUD, and provide 27 free cable channels.





Or not.

The download is better than the SD in my opinion. In fact, the download, last time, was a different version that had less bugs than the card.

As long as you have a port on your machine it's the way to go.

Can we remove/erase/reload new data to the card currently in the vehicle? I'm on Nam 10 also.

Genesis suggests you may use your current SD Card for the download version. I did do the download with the current past version; a word of interest; it took four hours to do the download. The decision is, get the update in four hours... wait a week and let the mailman bring it but no fancy box.

I always reuse the cards. They are full-size SD and that's getting hard to find in computers today though.

Doubt it. They have a unique look for the bigger screen. The smaller one is shared to leverage it's universality.

Bigger question is what do they do with the new, unique, screen in the 2022 Stinger

Actually I was thinking the display used to be of higher contrast and having more color than the current display [Am I imagining this or has it always looked this way? (i.e Mocha etc.) Full Disclosure: It's my wife G80; I don't drive it all that much]
Also, If I wanted to verify what version the G80 is at, where would one look to verify?

Was on the phone with mapnsoft today about how to get an update for my G70 since I can't enter my vin on the site. They said I would be able to when an update is released and they are releasing a new version tomorrow (Tue). Not holding my breath but guess it's closer now.

Checking just now, the 14.5 map update is available for my 2018 G80 Sport (9.2" HD navigation system with DIS Multmedia Controller).
Using my VIN to look up, it is shown as part Number 145SP2_DH / Map Version NAM.13.47.44.680.201.3. I'll order and install in a couple of weeks. It appears the update (by mail or download) is still at no cost to me.
