I wonder how well the Equus stacks up against the LS460?

It falls short but not by a whole lot. Of course, build quality and technology go to the LS460. Even power/acceleration goes to the Lexus. Materials... But the Equus is close in every aspect. I have a feeling the next Equus will have a lot of people second guessing a Lexus LS purchase unless they do something about their stale drivetrain...

What do you mean? In comparison to the ES350?

Not really much like the GS, a lot like the LS. My wife leased an IS and I looked closely at both while she was shopping.

Yeah, I THINK market-wise it's supposed to compete with the GS but size-wise it's pretty close to the LS other than the back seat. Same as the Equus - the Genesis is almost identical in every measurement other than rear seating...
