  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Missing Items from the 2015

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I might be missing something, but I not sure why some keeps saying there are no adaptive headlights for the 2015?

For the US model, Adaptive headlights are standard on the 5.0 and optional on the 3.8:

https://www.hyundaiusa.com/genesis/specifications.aspx -> EXTERIOR FEATURES -> High Intensity Discharge (HID) auto-leveling headlights

Although that might be true for the Canadian models:

Self levelling and adaptive are 2 different animals.

All the hid bi-xenon cars must have self levelling lights due to the blinding nature of hid, this is the law. So yes the gen 2 has self levelling however on the base which has halogen lighting they are not required and therfore not supplied.

As for adaptive lighting, no the gen 2 does not have this feature in Canada or the US. Adaptive means when you turn the steering wheel, the lights turn in the same direction which was removed on the gen2 as what I have to assume in a cost savings measure.

F*ck how long do I have to return mine?

Wait that would mean I have to take back my 2012. Lol

I'll give you $20,500 :D

I love this forum! One never ceases to learn...

At any rate, this is another one to add to list as to why the R-Spec made more sense than the 5.0 / Ultimate this time around... I would have missed that feature!

Don't get me wrong, if the 2015 had 4.5 sec 0-60 or better, it would have been a done deal!!! Alas, will have to wait for the MCE refresh to see what goodies they will have in store for us...

Thanks - this shows that 3 locations contain 2 speakers each and the OP is wrong because he just counted speaker grills. The Ultimate system does have 17 individual drivers and does play DVD's.

Ironically the image isn't of a USDM model.
