  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

With the modified Genesis thread taking off like it did I thought it would be helping to have a sticky that addressed the FAQ's on modifications and what parts are available for this platform. Obviously this will evolve as new items are available and as changes are made but it would be a good starting point for those looking for the basic modifications and should provide answers to basic questions needing to be addressed before modifications begin.

below is a very rough list and I though I would let other members contribute depending on what they have done to their cars. Below is what I am aware of and what I have done with my car - feel free to let me know what needs to change or if any additions can be made.

Wheels & Tires:
-Staggered:20x9 and 20x10.5 wheels will fit with 35 offset front and 45 rear with 255/35/20 front tires and 285/30/20 tires
-Square:20x9 with 30 offset and 255/35/20 tires

Suspension & Brakes:
-Storm springs - provide a 1.2 inch drop up front and 1.4 in the rear
-ARK springs - currently two versions being developed - specs to come
-Rotors - Adams Rotors - custom finished and patterns available

Appearance:
-KDM dual projector headlights
-Pure rear lip spoiler
-T5i rear lip spoiler

20x9 wheels will fit with a +30 offset as well, with a 255/35/20 tire

Updated. Thanks Rloyola0426.

Mods can we make this a sticky??

Does anyone have a definative answer if the AWD version can run the staggered setup? interestingly they show the AWD version with staggered setup on Hyundai's videos.

https://www.hyundaiusa.com/genesis/index.aspx#htrac

I have the 5.0 AWD and they came with the staggered set up. Kept it staggered when I put the winter tires on the OEM wheels and my 20' summer set up is staggered as well.

NEWGEN2015 couldn't get 10x9 to fit Huddleston, I went to carid and they said 10x8.5 is the biggest rim that can fit in front without the storm drop. Rloyala says he got 20x9 with 30 offset and it works fine but I think something is up, would be nice to clear this issue up before I purchase mine for sure though. I would be horrified if it didn't fit.

This is what carid recommends http://carid.com/cart.php?rst_cart=627FACFD7BDCC274642BCA004BFE7D8C

FYI element seems to have the same wheels at a lower price than Carid (at least the wheels I'm considering). It pays to shop around.

Not sure, mine are fine with no issues.

Tpr5.0, nice wheels.

Thanks.
Decided to go with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
255/35/20 fronts and 295/30/20 rears.

I like the wheel choice. I looked at MPSS but decided to go with the Bridgestone tires instead. Let me know how you like the michelins.
