If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hi Everyone,

I just received my BH380 emblem and I want to move the GENESIS lettering to the left rear side of the car and put the BH380 on the right rear.

My question is, I had my car for over a year and when I remove the GENESIS lettering, I'm assuming it will not be sticky anymore, right? If not, what should I put on it to re-stick it on the left side? Do I have to get 3M tape and cut it out to match the shape of the letters?

Or maybe I should just remove the Genesis lettering completely and replace it with BH380 since the emblem says Genesis already? What are your thoughts? Similar to Lexus and other vehicles

This is what I did, no need to have the rear of the car say "Genesis" twice. If you were to still want the letters on the car, you would need to go to the dealer and purchase letters.

I could faintly see were the letters were when I took mine off, but this was fixed when I had my exterior buffed by a pro.

Hmm, I just got an exterior detail not too long ago, if I do see fading would there be any other easier way to fix the issue without having to involve a buffer?

mines a 09 and had very light fading. I did a quick 2 stage polish and looked perfect. Used a bit of goo removal to help with the initial clean. You can also use some wd40 to remove the goo also, and polish and you will be fine.

I would suggest doing the move with new. Very difficult to reapply straight

Would anyone take shots at me if I just put my BH380 lettering on the left side opposite the Genesis lettering?

I just re-badged with the winged Genesis badge, and removed the "Genesis 5.0". Keep 'em guessing as to what it is in front of them. ;)

As far as anyone "taking shots" at you; do what you want, it is your car, and what makes you happy! :)
