  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This autocross was at the Miami Homestead Speedway on November 30th, 2008. It was my first time driving at an autocross event, but my time wasn't that much either, however my brother did get second place in the F Stock category, only behind a 2008 Ford Shelby GT. Here are the results for that event:

A video will be coming in the next couple of days.

The car felt great, the only problem is the ESC cutting power from the engine, even when it is off. After some sharp turns, you could not accelerate, and basically there was a fast part of the track that the car consistently took it slower because of the lack of acceleration, there were also places where the car decided to go from 2nd to 1st gear (in manual mode) which was kind of confusing. Other than that the handling was spectacular, it was a very luxurious racing experience, the car did gather a crowd at the end of the event to look at the engine, everyone was impressed.

Very interesting! I'm anxiously awaiting the video! :)

That is outstanding.
I wonder if the V6 would be a little quicker in a tight enviroment like that.
Let's see, V6 with V8 rear stabilizer bar, V8 front brakes.....hummmm....thikin.....
