No, the service guy at the dealer said there's no remote location feature on the Genesis. Ended up calling Blue Link and subscribed to their remote service so hopefully they'll be able to help find the car. Hopefully it's not in a concrete bunker or already getting chopped.

Probably taken by a pro. You can steal cars in broad daylight (though this was at night) with a flatbed. Hardly anybody would question it.

When I got mine last Feb., it had paper plates for 2 mos. so people knew it was a new car all along.

Compliments from my neighbors were a mixed thing - nice - but with some of my neighbors, you had to worry.

Wow, that's a lot. The one car I've had stolen in my life was also in Philadelphia. It was also while living there that I had my apartment (near the University of Pennsylvania) burglarized.

I always take replacement value insurance which only costs $50-$75 a year more. If the car is stolen they replace it with a brand new and not a dime needs to be spent. Had 2 cars replaced like this but through accidents, not theft. 1 car was 2 years old and got replaced by a new one. Same for the other but it was 4 years old.

Sorry for your loss by the way, insured or not we do feel our privacy has been invaded which sucks big time.

I assume your Genny has Navi? That is one way to find it. I am pretty sure whoever decided to take it prob at least hotwired (tried to) and go the car on enough where I.C.E. is active. Hopefully.
What did the police say?

I saw a recovery company take a car with wheel dollies without even having to open the door. Slid the car to the left/right and jacked it up on wrecker..
SCARY.
