  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Nice!

nice looks good! What are the offsets of your rims?

Those appear to be semi aggressive offsets, did u do any fender work? What size tires?

I'm loving it...

Vossen Wheels have some of the sexiest wheels out there now

plus i'm kinda partial to them too

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Very clean gen. I love the universal diy lip. I did that with most of my past cars.

That's gotta be a bone jarring ride.

I'm with you Seattle! That guy who used ARK supplied lowering springs says just the opposite but if you read the ARK website the manufacturer reports that the springs are firmer...yes firmer! I find my 2012 3.8 just right (may have a lot to do with the "passenger grade" Michelins). My Genie is in the shop for that intermittent DEAD audio bug and they loaned me a Sonata to drive (2012 2.0 turbo) and while the ride is certainly less firm than my Genesis the Sonata still handles bumps/road interruptions the same way as my/our Genesis with a big thud (rode in a KIA van and yes also very similar)...I think Hyundai suspensions across the board are similary designed to handle (or not handle) the big changes in a similar manner....now if ARK designs a progressive spring without lowering (I have NO DESIRE FOR THAT) then I would try it...just for shits and giggles.

"Depends on your definition." Thats like trying to define porn. A supreme court judge once remarked that it may be hard to define(uhm, porn) but he certainly knows when he sees it! Our Genesis comes with a fairly firm ride (and it is infamous for its inability to handle sudden, severe changes) if lowering the car increases this already firm ride, sharp response then the description "bone jarring" works for me.

I stand by my statement of it depends on your definition as I think the Genesis sedan has a very soft comfy ride from the factory, but I didn't come from a Big body Lexus or anything like that. Im used to being slammed on coilovers and air ride. Everyone has a different definiton of a "stiff ride" ;) For reference my other car:

Hmm...well I understand your position completely now.

I really would like to take a ride in someone's Genesis that considers it to be a "soft" ride. Any one in the pacific northwest area? Heck, I'd drive half way across the country for this.
