  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My new 2015 Genesis Sedan

@Jaeger- Thanks for your detailed informative reviews.Which level of trim is your car ? Premium,Luxury or Technology? How many Kilometers are you @?
I bought an 18 month old 2016 used 3.8 Luxury with 11000 Kilometers 2 months ago. Got it from Hyundai Gallery here in Calgary for $31200.
Really like it except the entertainment unit seems to like flipping from my Ipod Nano to Sirius or even my phone music when it feels like it sometimes 4 or 5 times within 30 minutes.Very frustrating.

You're welcome. Mine is a 3.8 Luxury and I'm at 30K km. I use an android phone and have no issues but it does some weirdness when my daughter uses her i-phone, so I hear you. Glad you are enjoying your ride otherwise.

I find the easiest way to enter an address is to use the "send to car" feature from a computer or the app. Never had it tell me to take an early exit where I've traveled. Is it just one particular road? Perhaps a map update would help but you can't be sure until you've paid your money.

No, it does this a lot. When I am next taking a long road trip on unfamiliar highways I'll probably bring my wife's old basic portable Garmin for backup - I just don't trust this unit. I gather map updates are fairly costly for this car - like it would be far cheaper to buy a top tier brand new portable nav unit.

I have the same car but with the Canadian Technology trim package... err something like that. The one with the HUD.

I'm loving the car so far. However, I do agree with you on the fuel consumption. I came from 4 cylinder daily drivers to this so I definitely see it but it is to be expected. I don't even use NAV at all. The nav apps on a smartphone are the best.

Such a nice looking ride, it's a shame some states make you mount a 2nd license plate on the front, like a LEO couldn't figure out who you are from 1 plate? Weird Alice

I've got the 5.0 AWD for two years now and love it! Being from Ontario myself and having the required front license plate, there is a way to make it look better. Simply lower it a couple of notches on the grille so the bottom of the plate is at the bottom of the bumper. It involves drilling two new mounting holes and plugging the old ones, but that is easily hidden and I think it looks much better lowered.
