  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know of a great dealership to buy a 2014 R Spec from? No Games, just the best price and out the door.

Morrie's 394 Hyundai was exceptionally good to work with when I bought mine. However my sales person Josh and the GM at the time are no longer there. So my only current perspective is service, which has been outstanding.

I think at least this time, you are going to have to negotiate to get the best price. Not everyone knows that you can get $10K off of MSRP on a 2014 and they are not going to volunteer that information right up front because some customers that would snap one up at $4K-$5K off MSRP and think they got a great deal. If everyone got the best possible price, then the best possible price would have to be a lot higher.

Yeah, I know how to negotiate Car Prices, but some dealers just won't negotiate.

Here's my negotiation. I see I can get an R Spec from Texas for $38.5 Grand, if you sell me one at that price, I'll buy it from you, if not, I'm retired, have a lot of time on my hands and I'll go to Texas.

I Bought my Last Lexus In New Jersey, based on Recommendations from Internet Forums like this one. And it was a not a 'discontinued model' at that time.

I am not sure where you are seeing those prices, but I doubt those are the best prices either. I think this is a special situation here with the 2015's coming and large inventories of 2014's on dealer lots, and Hyundai is giving dealers huge incentives to make room for the 2015's and the best prices are not going to be advertised this time.

And your point is?

The best prices on a 2014 are not going to be advertised on a website.

Yup, I knew that already. That's why I asked for a dealer Recommendation. Do you have one?

I know how to buy cars. I probably have bought many more than you have.

Try Butler Hyundai here in Indy. Call Moe the finance and closer. He will fix you up with my sales guy. They will without hassle give you best street price. The extended factory bumper to bumper warranty price is good too. And they throw in a same owner 20yr/200k power train warranty. Tell Moe Doug Sauer sent you.. I have referred others who have bought. Hope they have a R-Spec in stock.

Please let me know one way or the other how it worked out.

Will do. Thanks Much for the Recommendation!;)

I am a manager @ a Hyundai dealer . 8000 off of MSRP for a 2013 includes all rebates. Anything less the dealer is taking a loss or stealing your trade in.

OK ,TRUE CAR is doing $10503 off on 2013 Rspec and $8547 off on 2014 Rspec. No trades involved. In Florida. Thanks

Yes that might be true but the dealership is losing money and they have up to a $999 dealer fee

Perhaps some would rather lose some money now and refresh inventory with new product than pay floor plan interest on long-term inventory of old product and lose even more money.

Don't forget to add 499.00 plus for the dealer fee @ fitzmall.com ... Also it will probably be a soft color choice also.

Not true. Maryland caps dealer prep at $200.00. Fitzgerald charges $199 dealer prep on all their cars in their Maryland locations.

At least that's what they charged me each time I bought a Hyundai from them.
