Now a proud owner of a 2015 Ultimate in Manhattan Brown 3.8 (tan interior.) For those of you who may not have seen this color combination, it is beautiful. When the sun hits the paint, it sparkles nicely! It is a remarkable machine in so many ways. I am the previous owner of a 2009 Midnight Blue 3.8 which I regret selling, but would not likely have bought the new one as I loved the previous one. I can fairly compare them should you have any questions. Thus far, I have zero complaints. The adaptive cruise, lane departure warning/lane keep assist and blind spot detection/rear cross traffic alert all work as advertised. When I get tired of the the whiz bang stuff, I turn it off. I LOVE The HUD, in particular the turn by turn directions from the NAV. And yes it CAN be adjusted for height, color, font size and brightness and obviously turned off completely. Haven't messed with the Blue Link much. I don't intend to shout direction requests via voice command to the NAV system. I'll just type it in. For reasons I don't understand, I simply refuse to try the parking "guidelines" system. So far, I can still park a car. Interior is profoundly quiet at highway speeds. Seemingly even quieter than the previous generation. Then again, anything above 4000hz I'm stone deaf anyway so it probably doesent matter.
I thank all of you who have posted so much good information... yes, even the nay-sayers. I went in to it informed and can say I like the new generation much better. To me, the cost is justified.
