Mine works when it wants to. I got tired of turning off bluetooth and having a signal sent again.

So you have to have Bluetooth off?

There is a setting in the nav somewhere to "use traffic info" or something like that. It may be in the main settings or the per route settings, I'm not sure.

In order to receive the new activation signal they want you to tune to xm station 1 with bluetooth turned off for 5 minutes. Mine works once a week if that much. Sometimes I'll be driving and I can see the flow of traffic and detours will pop up. Most of the time I am not receiving any traffic info.

Mine works and gives traffic warnings (e.g. accident). However, the average speed displays are only available in select markets, which I believe only covers a few major cities.

Just got off the telephone with hyundai canada, She said they were aware on the xm traffic problem and were working on getting a software fix for it.

my xm traffic came to life as i was driving in.
Glad they fixed it.

Magically mine has been working consistent for a week. It is a true benefit when it's working, whatever update was sent I no longer have to resend an activation signal to get it to work.
