New Map v13.0 update available

As much as I love keeping all my gadgets updated to the latest software, I just can't bring myself to pay $145 to update a map every time they change something when I have AA and full access to Google Maps and Waze for "free".
 
I keep forgetting to look at the sub forums these threads are hiding in. I just use the "New Posts" feature to see what folks are chatting about...:)

Yes it would be a big help if the subforum appeared somewhere on the post.
 
What size screen does the 2015 g80 ultimate have? Can't tell if this update is specific to the size screen.

There is no 2015 G80, but the Hyundai Genesis Ultimate has a 9.2" screen
 
Mapnsoft is saying there is no update available for my car. Oh well.

Thanks. I registered and they don't recognize my VIN, but I've only had the car three weeks so maybe it hasn't gotten to them yet. I'll give it a try in another week or so.

It takes a long time. I think they have a high school kid doing it part time or something.
 
Same thing happened to me.
It took 1 month for my VIN to be recognized. I then got an email back saying I had a new map for my car.
 
Ah, cool, I guess there isn't anything to worry about on my end. I'll wait a a bit and see what happens. I typically use Android Auto, but figured it wouldn't hurt to have the latest software anyways.

Hmm... Looks like we don't have this in Canada. Tried to register on the US site and that went nowhere. If anyone has a solution here i'd be curious. My current NAV tried to direct me hard left into a farmers field the other day and I was only trying it out for the first time in an area i'm familiar with lol. Honnestly, there was no old access road or anything that could ever have been considered a road.

Also looking forward to the eventual Android Auto update.

Email your service department and they will forward to Genesis Experience who will send it out. Or you can email Genesis Experience directly.
 
I put in a bug on not being able to register when I first got my car...the official response is 1 month to enroll after purchase.

It's weird.

Just call your service adviser and ask them to order you a new SD card when the updates come out. I ordered the 13.0 about a week or so ago and this was the second one I ordered within a year. Here is when the 12.5 came (my car came with 12.0):
