  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What was the purpose of the slight oversize? (just curious)

I have Yoks on my 04 Envoy after a set of badly cracked Michelins needed replacement. The Yoks cracked on the sidewalls but Yok made good on 'em and so far we love 'em. As you say, smooth quiet ride.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Those are 18s? They look like they are at least 20s.

they are definitely 18's but love that you think they look like 20's

nice look but too bad about the flag in your front yard :D

Looks nice with the black Genesis...It's funny, but the wheels look bigger than an 18". You should post some pics at different angles including one showing the width of the tires etc.

Oh...and BTW....Welcome back:welcome:

Thank you, I will post some pictures. I would really like more feedback. I am not sure I'm liking the wheels....lol. The black really changes up the look. I am so used to chroming everything....as I have a Harley....lol

More pix different angels.

Needing opinions. Would the charcoal gray look better. Like the wheel...Don't like the wheel. Good tire size...wheel size...Please leave some feedback.

Thanks Britt

so i like the stance and the lines of the car now. however, i am not a fan of "colored" wheels ... black red orange whatever. chrome (high polish) might be a bit much, but a machined look without the black rim and inter-spoke would (imo) be uber sharp ...

who makes the wheels?

(go bucks :) )

I like the look. I'me looking for something similar but with gray to match my car.

Harley's are supposed to have chrome. :)

Just traded in my custon '06 Road Glide for a '13 road Glide Ultra. ;)

I'm pretty satisfied with the stock wheels. Not sure why peeps want to spend a bunch of money for different ones......... but, that's just me I guess. :D

Because they are narrow and sunk in way too much imo.

:D I'm 31 and agree with the top one, or at least the 1st sentence of it. I have 3 sets of wheels for my WRX. There are some aftermarket wheels that look ok, but they don't look right at the stock ride height and I have no intention of ever lowering the Genesis. I couldn't find any other wheels that I'd personally run that look as good as the stock wheels without dropping the car some. For me it would be about altering the car to be mine, not to run a crapload more tire that I don't need or to fill out the fenders. I don't need an obnoxious size like 9.5-10" wheels.
