  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all,

I have Genesis4.6 w/Tech for 2 months now.
Recently some of my friends complainted about no audio from rear seat side speaker when I was playing DVD title like "Eagle-Hell freeze over".
So I stopped the car and checked it. What I found was whenever I select "Stereo" track from DVD, no audio from rear seat speaker.
It happens most of DVD title I played.
Anybody had a experience like me? Is it intended or malfunctioning?

Thanks in advance,

What happens when you select 5.1?

Surround channel works well.

Well that's good to hear (no pun intended).
Now, try a different stereo source, FM or XM or iPod. In "settings", slowly adjust the Fader to the rears. What is the result? We already know the rears work, but are the results/non-sound the same in all modes?

I checked every audio source and no particular issue except DVD stereo channel.
Thanks,
