  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sometimes the draggy will shut off and not record. It happens to me a lot at the track cause I have so much going on

Had to get some runs in tonight before we go on lock down due to corona virus. Weather was perfect and streets were clear.

Thanks to @Toddasaurus and @Vortex951 for the tips. Lowered tire pressure to about 29 psi, used custom mode, LC, full auto. Got my best time yet!

Nice! So stock with custom mode. What are your settings for custom mode? You're .04 seconds fast than my best time. I'm stock, 87 Octane, Sport mode and AWD

Comfort for suspension and sport for everything else. I am on 93 octane though, RWD.

Got a lot of good runs in today actually.

Outstanding! Are you manually shifting, or letting it auto shift? Either way, that's an excellent time for stock. Many stinger owners, some even modified, aren't getting those times.

Auto is king 👑 😂😂. Now wait until someone comes out with a brake snip adapter and you can get close to 3s for a rwd. I’m .03 seconds away from cracking sub 4s. The more you practice though the better it will be. Did you have any wheel spin? Or hop?

Had very little wheel spin after lowering tire pressure.

I'm sure you'll get 3s soon. Best of luck to you man!

If you are getting a little bit of spin try taking a couple more psi out of the tires.

Tried a few runs with the modified OEM intake. Full tank of 87 octane, e-brake launch. Wonder how it will do with less fuel on board. My best run prior without the intake mod was 4.53 and 1/4 tank gas.

This one was a 4.56. Take notice of the initial surge. Not sure if this was the intake mod, e-brake or both. Most graphs I've seen with other people's cars don't have that

I noticed your 0-10, 20, 30 and 40 were all faster than mine but it seemed to slow down after that. Due to the awd maybe?

Yeah, maybe AWD and full tank of fuel? Here is my best run (4.53), how does that compare to yours?

Amazing how close our times are.. Once I get my tank closer to 1/4, I'll try again!

It’s really hard to tell why that happens. The fastest 0-60 stinger is 3.45 which is awd and my 4.02 was faster to both 10 and 20mph and tied at 30 mph. But after that his car doesn’t stop pulling as hard where mine falls off. Which is reversed of your two cars lol

Could be wind as well..

The wind would have to be somewhat drastic to make these kind of differences I would assume. I’d think it would probably need to be a minimum of 10 mph differences But I’m not a scientists so take my thoughts for nothing more than a simple thought. It’s awesome to see how close your two cars are tho. Aren’t they both basically bone stock?
