You totally can. With proper DRs and 18 inch rims...maybeThere is no way my rwd is gonna get that low. But I will try haha

Ya it might be possible. I didn’t think da would help the 0-60 much but I just did this real quick and didn’t even try to do a burn out before handYou totally can. With proper DRs and 18 inch rims...maybe
Proper DA in Vegas doesn’t exist but just drive to Baker or something to do a couple runs, altitude cut in halfYa it might be possible. I didn’t think da would help the 0-60 much but I just did this real quick and didn’t even try to do a burn out before hand
Edit- totally thought you said da not drag radials![]()
I gotta say, that's pretty sweet. Into the 3s if you use the car magazine standard!
What was your technique for this one?
I have a feeling this post is the beginning of a very friendly war...
...And the first shots have been fired![]()
I have my intercooler on the way. At least I ordered it over the weekend lmao. But you could take the top spot back just by going back to octane booster and map 3. That’s what I just ran for my 4.43.Similar technique, mine is still cutting power if I build boost in manual mode, so I start in auto mode. This time I am shifting a tiny bit earlier from 1st to 2nd. Also, no passenger (but my tank was almost full, whereas before it was about 1/4). I switched to Map 2, as well, but the difference is hardly noticeable.
I know I can get it into the high 4.1's as is. I think @Beefer has the right technique, that is, shift early from 1st to 2nd, then let it auto shift from 2nd to 3rd. There is a fair difference in gear ratios between 2 and 3, so you want to ride 2nd as long as you can.
So my celebration was short lived. Xot1 on the Stinger forum had his buddy who owns a G70 post his best time, and he crushed me...!! Haha.

He's using WMI, so he's got the edge! But, with a flash tune and a shiny new Mishimoto intercooler I can totally take him down!
Dragy is the name brand and all draft's are the same? It’s called a Dragy

@joschneider don’t tempt me to get on google earth and look for a road out there. I’ll do it for sure. But I have actually found some 245 drag radials for an 18” wheels. Just gotta decide how determined I am lol
I’d say just get your map3 with the 8 ounces of booster and see how that does cause beef was getting sub 4 so you should as wellOkay. Worth a shot, then. Remind me what octane do I need for Map 5...? I'm down to pour a whole bottle of boostane to get #1 again. Haha.
Well in that case I’m taking out the spare tire when I go to the speedwayNow it's serious. Just ordered some boostane. Also, totally gonna take out the childseats for maximum weight savings. Lol. Next week it's gonna be on! Haha
Ya I think I have well over 100 0-60 runs just since I got my draggyThis is getting fun! I just want to say.. So much for the fragile transmission theory. So many people have tons of 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs with no issues...

I like to get down to under 1/4 tank. 1/8 preferred. Then I add 5 gallons of e85. Then my 8 ounces of octane booster. Top the rest off with 91. If you have 93 I’d use that over 91. Every little bit helps Then drive around in sport mode not just so the gas mixes but you need to get that mixture into the fuel system as well. I’ll usually drive home which is about 20-30 min then drop the hammer and she pulls like a train.Tell me about mixing e85 for using Map 5 (ie how many gallons of e85 to premium gasoline). I found one ethanol gas station downtown. I'm gonna go all out.
That’s when I go get my gas. Not when I try to run it. I’m a goon I always run on near full tanks lol^ stay clear of 1/8 tank...ECU shuts down. 1/4 tank is key...or a bit less.
