  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks like a cartoon mouth coming to gobble up the cars in front of it lol..

It'll probably grow on me though...

Ironically I love the lines of the car. But then there's that elephant in the room...

What is it with car designers these days? Is everyone trying to outdo everyone else by making the most ugly front end?
I think the grille should accent the car, not dominate it,

My understanding is that in China (obviously a major market) where the automobile is even more of a fashion accessory than here, the trend is large corporate grilles which help passers-by more easily identify that you're driving a car from a luxury brand.

Of course that explains this, but it doesn't excuse it... that front end is ridiculous, revolting, goofy, stupid... I struggle to find the adjectives. BMW's been bleeding its mojo for years now, but this is a new low.

I blame Audi, they started it with their gaping maw of a grille like fifteen years ago. Too bad other brands decided to copy it.

To me it looks like a mustang and an Alfa got together and had a baby

So with the refreshed G70 looking like a Buick homage (pics posted by Petraman in the other thread), I see this opening up a huge opportunity for the TLX Type S for this segment which looks good and actually has usable rear seats, although I'm sure it won't handle as well as the G70 due to the long wheelbase and FWD-based powertrain. Total shame on Genesis to kill the momentum with the excellent current G70.

The TLX Type S looks pretty dang good. Especially that rear end! Excited to see how much HP that engine makes. A single turbo on a V6 will be pretty cool and make room for some (hopefully) good upgrades.

Also, think of Acura's SH-AWD system as a more refined version of the Focus RS's AWD system.

Still, some remains to be seen. Other than power output, will Honda's 10 speed tranny be responsive enough? What about stability control and the ability to disable said system? Weight distribution?

Even so, what has been shared by Acura and other car media outlets so far shows some impressive promises. Definitely waiting for more details on this car!
