The B58 and ZF are supposed to be bulletproof. Hopefully the rest of the cars is as well!An Audi RS5 passed me on the highway yesterday. Love the looks and it sounded amazing (may not have been stock).
I worry about reliability and repair costs, but it's tempting.
An M340i is a good choice, if not unique.
I know know what you mean about Audi.Agreed. My post was a bit confusing, I was referring to the Audi's reliability.
The BMW should be good. My last three 3 series sedans were all very reliable.
What's perhaps most intriguing, however, is how much production or near-production hardware is used in the N Vision 74. The fuel cell stack and the two high-pressure hydrogen tanks are from the Hyundai Nexo. The electrical architecture is 800V, as in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. The motors are similar to those that will be used in the forthcoming Ioniq 5 N. And although it has a unique multilink suspension all around and bespoke subframes, key elements of the body structure are shared with the Genesis G70.
But the really clever part is that the N Vision 74 wouldn't be an orphan inside Hyundai. The car has the same wheelbase as the Genesis X Speedium concept, insiders say with a smile that leaves you to draw your own conclusions. And, they add, we can expect to see another concept that could also conceivably be part of the same vehicle family as N Vision 74 and X Speedium.
"We would like to make this car as soon as possible," N brand management team department head Joonwoo Park says. And he and his colleagues are doing their damnedest to make it happen.
Remember the N Vision 74 from last month? It's a G70 underneath.

And not only are Hyundai seriously considering to put it into production, it's also going to share the platform with the Genesis X coupe. I'm reminded of 30 years ago when Toyota developed the Supra alongside the Lexus SC.

I really enjoyed watching the long and very technical vid Savagegeese did on the Z06. Makes you appreciate how extraordinary this engine really is and how a company like GM was willing to spend the R&D money on it, when Toyota - arguably a much larger car company at this point - can't even build their own sportscar engine and instead source them from Subaru and BMW.Ok, not like the G70 but damn GM hit it out of the park with the new Z06!
That flat plane crank makes this engine sound glorious!!
I'll have to break it down into categories. Can't say much about performance yet since I'm not pushing it until I reach 2,000km.Love to hear your impression of the car. It's hard to get balanced feedback on the M340, especially vs. The G70 3.3T. Not looking for stats, more subjective feeling.
Probably won't be relevant to most G70 owners but I'm kind of amazed at how much Hyundai refreshed the Sonata, they completely revamped not just the exterior but also the cabin. The G70 obviously didn't get the same amount of love.
