Pics of my G70

Are those rubber winter mats? I like something in the winter that is easy to remove at the car wash and spray to clean.

Love all the owners G70 pics, and the accessories...keep them coming!

Excelus, just wondering if there is any odor with the Tuxmat floor mats? The WeatherTech floorliners that I bought years ago smelled quite a bit brand new. I let them air-out in the garage for a couple of months in the summer before I put them in my car. But after airing them out for that period, they no longer smelled which is a good thing because some cheaper mats from other companies seem to not ever to stop off-gassing.

I don't notice any smells coming from the mats and didn't have to air them out or anything, though mine was one of the last ones of the batch so it may have been sitting out for a while before I bought them.

I second this question.
What is the material of construction for these OEM mats? The surface looks porous. Are they fabric?
Are they "waterproof"?

Yes they are some sort of rubber and are non porous. I’m not exactly sure what it is as I never had anything like this before in previous cars.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I don't recall seeing mats like these (OEM or aftermarket) either. So is the surface sort of textured?

I can't pinpoint the material either, they feel like some sort of composite plastic/rubber. They are extremely lightweight and 100% waterproof (I have the same ones in a Santa Fe for the last 3 years). The surface is textured.

Exactly feel the same. I say based on look and feel it is totally worth it to get! :)

The OEM floor liners are fantastic. They are of a nice textured material and they are quite grippy even with snow/water, unlike WeatherTech mats.

That is funny. I have yet to even see another G70 driving around. One of the things I like about the car.

Right back at you - you've got an absolutely beautiful ride, lol!

Haha hey SVTong, that would be me! First time I've seen another G70 since I got my car. Congrats on the ride!

Ok...so who's car is on the left? Completely debadged. Curious why. Add a sense of "what the F is that"? Or...shame...until Genesis builds itself as a brand? Last part was a joke...LOL.

You trying to make folks think it's a Bugatti at first glance (wing logo, etc)...without the designation badging?

Replying to my own thread...I think I will debadge mine as well...makes it look mysteriously hot. Like a fine woman without a wedding ring.
