  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pics of my G70

Yeah, I had the same thought. This one seems to be slightly eccentric, so that more of the wheel is above than below the rotation point. That gives more room for your legs while you're heading straight ahead but when you turn the wheel. the bigger part goes from being on top to being on the bottom. This may be a problem primarily when parking, as normal driving shouldn't require 180-degree-plus steering wheel rotation. The flat-bottom wheel gives more room without going eccentric. So, the top part of the wheel is still bigger than the bottom but I think it would feel less strange than an eccentric wheel might. On the other hand, I don't know what it feels like to be turning a wheel and reach the transition point from round to not-round. That might take a bit of getting used to, also. Realistically, there's probably not that much functional difference between the two configurations in actual use but the flat-bottom wheel is also attractive and connotes sportiness. I bet it shows up in future models.
Porsche uses circular steering wheels and their cars are on another level compared to other cars out there. As cool as they are, I'm fine without the D-cut steering wheel.

Hey guys,
Got my G70 (Himalayan Grey Prestige) delivered last week and took some pics (though it had to rain and be near freezing the first day I could see/drive/take pics of it and then be all dirty when it was finally sunny ) you can see the contrast in colors when its cloudy vs sunny

I got some fitted floor mats for the G70 so here's some pics of them the day after it rained. The fit is pretty good but the mat doesn't have a raised lip on the side underneath the front seats so it won't hold too much water. The back is nice since it goes all the way up and into the bottom of the backseat and over the transmission hump. The mat feels like the fake leather-rubbery parts of some cars' dash (ie. my old Gen Coupe)

I'll have to see it in person. The color looks like it has some blue in one of the pics. I like it!

Its definitly nimble and very fun to drive, my only complaint on that would be getting in and out of parking spaces as the streeing wheel only does a tad more than 1 full rotation until it locks

Hey all! I’ll be getting my Sport Trim G70 next Tuesday in red. Will post pics and what not. I’m also getting it nano coated (ceramic pro) and windows tinted (35% all around). No PPF, as it’s a lease for me...

Courtesy of Genesis Mississauga. Hey Chris, am I the first one in the GTA to get theirs? Lol! This is Mohammed btw.

Super stoked. This will be my first “luxury sport” car. First car ever was a Mazda 3 GT and man did I have fun. Few aesthetic mods, and would 6-step wash that multiple times a year. Learned how to drive stick on that car too. Then got married, had a kid and have been doing the SUV life for the last 8 years or so. Looking forward to having some fun again!!!

Got a chance to check out and take a few pics of the Mallorca Blue 3.3T Sport at Square One.

Few things I noticed about the NA model:
- dome light/sun roof controls does not have the blue lighting strip as seen in some of the Korean model reviews

- passenger seat does not have the driver side adjustment buttons seen in several reviews

- rims look much better in person than in pictures

- back seats are a bit difficult to get in and out of due to the limited toe room (have to twist foot sideways)

- overall materials are excellent and everywhere you would normally touch in the interior are padded with soft touch materials

Hey. Looks like we live in the same area. Should definitely get together! Or better yet come to one of our car meets https://www.facebook.com/carsandchaiTO/

Just PM me.

My bad... I ordered the last set from Tuxmat and I don't even have the car yet :p. I think they only had 4 of them in stock before the Canadian deliveries begun. I was told the oem floor mats won't be available until Summer so I didn't want to drive around for a month or more without any mats especially with the rainy days ahead.

My G70 should be arriving next week and I will post some pics when I get it.

I am planning to get 25% tints all around and possibly wrapping the roof and antenna in black. I think I remember you saying that there was some difficulties with removing the antenna for wrapping? Do you mind sharing what the issue was?

The shop i use (tint studio) said that the clips that hold the suede headliner are tight as hell and may break also the windshield may need to come out to access the headliner and also the suede headliner is finicky to work with. After hearing all that i just called off the job as it still looks good with the tint but i do reccomend the mirror wrap for sure

Regarding the mats. I contacted Tuxmat and asked if we can get some sort of a group buy or discount code. Hey, it doesn't hurt lol. They have free shipping across canada and they are expecting to have stock later by next week.

I haven't heard back yet if they will extend any sort of group buy or discount code to us.

My only gripe with those mats are that they cover the nice alloy foot rest

Yea, I have mixed feelings about the covered foot rest too... At least it'll do a good job at keeping the foot rest area salt free. I have crazy salt stains in the foot rest area in my current car that I can't seem to get rid of.

My wife was pushing for me to get that color. I said I prefer to be more incognito while driving. She said to me and the salesperson that I could be more incognito by not driving like a jackass. lol
😂

I'll be completely honest, I kind of miss being able to just be forgotten... But I've also been driving like a jackass which could have been avoided...
