  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That looks so much like white. I guess it is a very light gray? How would you describe the difference between this color and white?...might be tough to do...LOL. The problem with ordering a car online...you cannot see color swatches.

It is a very bright metallic silver. I think bright or light metallic colors really brings out the subtleties of a cars design. It's best to see them in person though. I think my second choice would be the blue one.

They look like two different colors to me.

My last cars have been dark. Black or a dark gray. I want a lighter car this time. I will never get black again...that is for sure. Not a fan of red.

So it's down to this silver, white...or the blue I have been seeing...since it looks so awesome. The Nurburg Green (sp?) looks sweet with the rims...but I think that color would be considered dark.

Well yeah...in those pics for sure. Especially with the white being outside. Does the white have any metallic in it at all? Meaning...does it change color in the sun, shade, etc? I'm just finding that the Genesis colors are really top notch. Really different paint applications.

To add to all the confusion...here are the colors from the the official English brochure on the Korean site.

Totally different names...and potentially even different colors :(

The brochure from the Middle East brochure has an additional color...Gold Scent...

Thank You very much. I have placed an order for the Himalayan Grey but my gut was telling me Santiago Silver... I don't think i'd be disappointed with either but the Silver I like...

The 2 G70s I test drove actually happened to be these 2 colours. Both very nice, but I felt the Grey actually showed off the lines of the car a bit more than the Silver. Silver turned the car into a shining beacon in the sun, but the Grey looked like a lean mean driving machine.

So is the grey really dark like a black? Would it be somewhere between black and silver? Someone said that the grey is actually a flat color...which some of the very high end cars do (Audi RS7).

Dont know how lucky you are !!!! I can't use a 2x2 inch swatch to select a car color... I've seen the Blue and Siberian Ice. Was nice, but not me. Himalayan Grey is the order as it stand, been leaning to Silver. Showing the pics to a few friends, its a toss up.

Hmmm...that might line up with the Korean Racing Gray. If you zoom in on the swatch I posted above...it is the only color that doesn't have a metallic/depth touch to it...very "flat".

That seems about right. I'd imagine the U.S. colours will match the Canadian ones, but who knows.
