  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pics of my G70

This is quite nice also... has anyone seen the brown in person? Looks very reflective but very elegant...

I did and I quite liked it ... darker than what the picture would indicate.

Just picked up a 3.3T Sport in Siberian Ice too, and I have to say, no pictures online have ever done the color justice. You have to see it in person. I was sold on the Mallorca Blue, until I saw the tester I drove in Siberian Ice.

It’s definitely gray, but light enough that in bright sunlight, far from any white things, it looks close to white. There’s a subtle blue tint too, which I think looks quite nice.

Nice!!

Although you probably didn’t intend it, having that white car in the background, even though it’s small, helps the Siberian Ice stand out from white.

That's surprising... can anyone with Siberian Ice compare it to the gray Kia Stinger color below? The Kia is almost a flat gray, I'm wondering just how gray the Siberian Ice really is?

I know it's hard to tell because of lighting and everything but I'm trying to get a better idea as to whether the Siberian Ice is more white or gray?

I spotted a “Ceramic Silver” Stinger a fee weeks ago in good daylight. While I did not get a picture of that car, this photo I found is, to my eyes, more accurate and appears to have much more gray.

That said, I’d be interested in knowing is whether the color of the Siberian Ice looks like the photo I’m posting or closer to the car show photo?

Siberian Ice is a touch lighter than that shade on the Stinger. The cars do not share a colour palette.

Here's an excellent shot of the Siberian Ice sitting right next to a white vehicle....32135552_2060155580679875_4707534716218114048_n.webp

I really like that colour ... I see it as leaning more towards blue than grey ...

I think that's what I'm gonna go with when the time comes in the US....

Also, does anyone know if the moonroof is required on the 3.3T Sport?? I would kind of like to not have it... Unless it's panoramic like my F-150 is, I won't use it. So since the G70 is not pano, I would rather just not have it (one less thing to go wrong or break and more of that beautiful Alcantara <3)

I find it odd that they're doing different specs for Canada versus the US, however here (north of the border) the moonroof is standard on the 3.3T. It's not pano, but it is larger than what I think of as a 'regular' sunroof.

OK, maybe in the US the spec will be different and there won't be a moonroof. Only time will tell....

It is listed among the escalating options one gets as one moves up the trim levels.

According to the 07/10/2018 press release (linked below) there are 4 trim levels for the 3.3T G70: Advanced, Elite, Prestige and Sport. There are also the two special editions that will be sold initially. It says that a “Sunroof” is added at the “Elite” trim level.

The way I read it, as you move up the trim levels, you have everything from below unless it is replaced by something else.

The press release does not detail what the “Sunroof” actually is. In the review by Redline Review (one of my favorites) the reviewer, Sofyan Bey, calls it “panoramic” then says it’s a “half panel.” Here’s a couple photos from his review. I will admit I know almost nothing about sunroofs, so I’ll let the photos do the talking.

Thank you!! All these great Siberian Ice photos are pushing me towards that choice...

Thank you. Until we get these cars “in the flesh” it’s great to have you and others so kindly share information. I have only had the privilege of sitting inside one G70, so far. The very clearly black Nappa seats looked gray in the photos I took and most of the photos of black seats I’ve seen online.

It's a "wide" sunroof. It is wide like a panoramic sunroof but it is just one big panel rather than two panels as the roofline of the G70 doesn't support a full panoramic sunroof like that on the G80. Although the panoramic sunroof of the G80 is quite striking from the inside, the sunroof on the G70 is sized ideally for the car (plus I don't care about sunroofs when I am blasting through corners).

I think the blue cast is reflecting the color of the sky. It's bluer on the hood (which faces the sky) than on the side, rear (which doesn't). Nice effect.
