Today, it was a simple? Bluetooth problem.
Over two hours at the dealership! The technician had to call Hyundai to 'solve' the problem. He reported that a re-boot (reset) of the Bluetooth system was required.
He was in my car for a verrry long time! Also, he moved it outside and then back inside and then back outside again during the process. I guess he was inside when consulting with Hyundia and then back outside when punching the buttons?
Works now, but will it work tomorrow and for the days to come? Frankly, I doubt it. One does not get a warm and fuzzy feeling in these situations.
I now regret paying for the 'advanced Genesis features'. Another bitch is the GPS data base, which is 3 years old. My 100$ hand-held GPS is more accurate in areas where roads have been added or changed.
So far (6 months), have had a blown fuse, a tire-pressure warning, the steering
wheel switch issue, the Bluetooth intermittent, the crappy GPS data base, and not always the best treatment at the dealership (one of the service managers has an attitude).
Not the worst of my new car experiences and not the best. Right now, it's looking like my first and last Hyundai.
