  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

@Beefer remember I'm a newbie so cut me some slack, but I don't see where I can start a PM conversation. I have 19 post/message I replied back to. Maybe I'm confused on the term "post"

Some have reported that they needed to wait 24 after achieving 16 posts. Just hoover over the members name (or click on it) and you should see Start Conversation.

Try using the "Contact us" link below and let Sal know. Maybe there is a problem with the PM setting. If you can report back anything you find out that would be great.

Done. Thank you. I'll post here when Ive heard back.

Finally got my G70! 2.0 AWD with the Prestige package. The numbers broke down like this:

MSRP: 46,095
Circle A Price (Thanks again @r_spec !!): 42,382
Rebates: 5k (4k lease cash, 1k conquest)
Down Payment (Acq fee, dealer fee, registration, first month): ~1,750
RV: 50%
MF: .00011
Lease Payment (36/10), pre tax: $405

Pretty standard deal; the dealer had no issue with Circle A or stacking the incentives on top of it. I tried talking the dealer down below the Circle A price (another $900 lower, to 10% off MSRP), but they wouldn't budge, and gave some BS excuses. I did get them to throw another $500 into the car they bought off me though, so I was happy.

All the content on this forum was a huge help! Thanks to everyone who contributes!

Got a reply. He said I should be good to go by tomorrow, and that I may have to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.

Hi all,

I was granted the Circle O-Plan through a contact at Hyundai. I finally found the car I want, and the through circle the price is reduced from $50,620 to $40,334. I'm planning to lease, and was expecting numbers in the low $400s at the most with $2500 down and 15k miles per year given the publicly available money factor of .00007.

When I received my quote, it was for $675/month. Shocked, I asked the dealer what money factor they were using. For some reason, this dealership is telling me that, because of the Circle O-Plan, there is a corporate policy (I made sure to ask if this was corporate or dealership policy) that they use a money factor of .003 instead. Does anyone know if this is true? Seems like BS to me, as the whole point of Circle is to give people a better deal.

I'd love to have that circle O discount, especially with buying. holy cow.

Is that lease cash a regional offer? I don't see on the main Genesis site or on my local dealerships, where I thought I did in May. Maybe I'm missing it.

EDIT: Sorry, saw the posts a couple pages back about looking at Edmunds.

Here’s what I paid for a 2.0 with the elite package (I believe) it was the middle package

$40,774
-$1,500 rebate
= $39,274

Okay to post some prospective purchase q's in this thread?
Interested in buying a G70 2.0T Advanced AWD for my wife, and was wondering about some of the offers I've received so far.
I don't qualify for any Circle pricing (thanks for posting the link for that), the only regional dealer incentive is $1,000 (ditto re link), I don't qualify for any of the conditional pricing, and will be paying cash (although I've learned recently from buying another car that I should not tell the dealer that beforehand).

Welcome to the forum. You just need to get a certificate for Circle pricing. Read through this and some other threads and you will see there is a member here called r_spec that has been providing them. That will get you the biggest discount. In addition, you will want to read up on leasing, taking the lease cash and then buying out the lease, Right now the lease cash is $4,000 for the 2.0 which will more than cover the fees and little interest. Depending on where you have your cash now, it may even be best to lease full term and then buy it out since the interest is very low.

Lots of people here will be glad to help with any questions.

Thanks for the info on leasing, but definitely purchasing outright, not leasing.
I'll check out that Circle contact, thanks!

Point is you get 4K more off msrp leasing it for one month. You will pay 795 fee and 300 purchase fee. You will be up roughly 2900 leasing for a month.

Whoah, and here I thought I was being clever by planning to finance a small portion of a different car for myself then pay off the entire loan after three month!
Thanks for the tip, and I'll start reading all the lease posts I was skipping since I had no plans to lease.

I thought I was clever as well to do the same thing. But here I am, a total fool for purchasing.

Haha. Oh well. Still a good deal to me. 48K out the door for an AWD Sport trim was better than I was expecting, all thanks to @r_spec !!

Leasing incentives can definitely make it worth leasing--and, as mentioned, you can pay it all off and still wind up ahead.
Dealers make money on financing--so, if the leasing numbers are too much to get a handle on (though people here will walk you thru all of them)--Genesis corporate also has $1,000 if you finance, but you can pay the entire amount off at first payment (which I think winds up being perhaps $40 in interest--or something like that).
So, even if you want to pay cash, look into leasing or financing options--making sure you can pay all of it off early with no penalty.
