  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Did you check Genesis of Kearny Mesa? We had 3.3T until the last few days. The G70 had gotten hot. Have the new 2022 in stock now too
I was searching inventory online and the only 3.3T's I was finding were at Genesis of Poway. It showed nothing in Kearny Mesa. I guess I could have went there to check myself - but in the end I'm happy getting $6K off of a 2021. They had a couple of 2022's in stock as well. I like the upgrades to the interior, but personally like the exterior of the 2018-2021's much better.. Not a fan of the big GENESIS letters in the rear. Reminds me too much of the newer Hyundai Sonata's with their big rear lettering. FYI - Poway told me that within the next few weeks, they will no longer be selling Genesis vehicles, only Hyundai. So that leaves Kearny Mesa as the only Genesis dealer in SD (I believe there's also a dealer in Carlsbad, but a bit far from me).

I am tempted to trade my many-problemed 2019 in on a 2021, it is worth a lot more than what I paid for at this point. Or a 2022, but no deals there. Have y'all looked at CarGurus used car price trends? Generally, used cars are trending about 24-29% higher across brands with the exceptions being Genesis (+10%) and maybe Fiat. However if you look at the G70 individual entry in the research, it's price has skyrocketed in the past month or 2 (Up like 20-25% when compared to itself, eg, it's own trend line). Basically, the used car market has lost it's mind, influenced by panicky know-nothing buyers and greedy dealers, plus stimulus check downpayments, and lack of new cars. Sort of a weirdo perfect storm. Used carnado.

Ordered a 2022 Sport Prestige about a month ago. Came in Thursday and we picked it up Friday. Had to pay list but worth every penny!

Just paid list for a 2022 3.3T G70 Launch Edition - I echo a previous comment - worth every penny.
Keep us informed how your 2022 holds up. If you have the sunroof, does it stay quite? I still love my 2020 and the $7k discount I got at the time makes it even better. Car dealers are holding all the cards these days so glad no one in my family needs a car right now.

I was on a 2019 3.3T lease - 23 out of 39 months and 20k miles - they gave me 4k over payout on my 2019. My 2019 lease was no money down sign and drive. I feel like a got a nice deal towards my 2022. I basically leased it for the same amount of money.

Another note my 2022 is $11 cheaper per month for the same coverage insurance over my 2019

Used Carnado. That's hilarious.

But not funny for the buyers.

Bought a new 2021 G70 2.0L RWD Elite for 37K at Rick Case Hyundai here in Atlanta. Was really hoping to get the 2022 but couldn’t wait months and months for local dealers to get stock of a 2.0L or a 3.3L in a low enough trim I could responsibly afford.

Man, I paid 31800k for that car, +TTL, more than a year ago, it has 36k miles and Vroom just offered me 32900 as a straight up buy. I owe ~26k, so that'll give me a 5-6k downpayment. If I could find a modestly optioned 3.3t 2022 for 2-4k off list, + that DP, I can responsibly afford the new one. I have no idea if the dealers are playing ball with new vehicles. Perhaps I can speak to Genesis about my basically fraudulent CPO and get them to provide me with a really good deal. Worth a try, I suppose.

so, like ~2k off list? Where are you located?
Southern California, and more like 1500 under MSRP. Not much I know but I was kind of surprised they went for that the market being what it is. Another dealership I was looking at were asking 2-4K over right off the bat. I did have travel about 3 hours away but that was more for that they had the exact car I wanted. The only other one was in Vegas or at least when I was looking.

Just purchased my 2021 G70 AWD 3.3t sport, negotiated 625/72mo 0 down 0 apr all taxes covered. Then right before signing i hit em with my jeep with 3 months left on lease to knock it down to 550/mo. 55kmsrp down to 40k. Blue with black interior. My choice would’ve been red/ice but i love it regardless.

Wow that's a great deal! I would have definitely paid the extra $3K to go up to a 3.3L if that was an option near me.

The local dealer with the most Genesis inventory has a bunch of 2019 and 2020 G70 they are only discounting 10K off MSRP so...not sure if they just love parking cars on their lot or what? Makes it difficult to get deals like yours though.

had to play the he said she said game for a few days. make dealers compete with each other........ p.s. doesn't seem like they check up on each other so discount some bucks for your negotiation fees lol

Just purchased a 2022 3.3T Sport Prestige, Black Forest Green with Tan/gray interior. $51,490 in the Orlando FL area.

3.3 Advanced in Tasman Blue. $47.3K = $1K below sticker. North Texas,

Just purchased a 2022 3.3t sevile silver prestige for msrp. They took off some ridiculous paint protection thing for $460 and left it on. Overall good experience at tuttle-click genesis in Irvine, ca! She is so pretty, I am afraid to break her.
