  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey everyone, it's been a blast reading these posts.

I just picked up a used 2019 black G70 3.3t prestige with 2700 on the OD for $36.5k here in the Clearwater FL area. Door sticker had it's MSRP at $49,500.

It was owned by the dealership as an executives car so I feel like the true first owner lol. At least the break in period is taken care of.

I also purchased their 10year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty as the factory warranty is non transferable... Bummer. Otd I was a hair over 40k

This thing is a BEAST and a hell of an upgrade from my 2007 mustang v6.

Wether I got the best deal possible or not I'm stoked to be in this car.

Congrats and enjoy it! May I ask how many miles the car had on it? Mine had 940, although it's a lease.

I think it was $2100 for the 10 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper

I did not even realize this thread was here, so I have not put up my purchase until now. I was looking for a manual trans car. Sold off the old ones. The wife likes to look at old cars, just not ride in them. I was down to VW GTI or GLI, or possibly a Elantra GT N-line. Then one day at work I saw a row of G70's. So I looked on Autotrader and there were 3 2019's at a dealer in Ft Lauderdale. I saw a Red over Grey m/t go for a little over 30k. The price kept dropping. I saw a second one go (Red over black) for a little over 28k. I bought the third (Red over black) for 27,926 plus 576.00 shipping to my door. Delivered to me on 02/11/2020 with 94 miles on the odo.
I was communicating with the local Genesis dealer during this. He called the dealer down there and asked how they could sell for so cheap. Was told, "nobody in S. Fl wants a manual trans car". The dealer could not sell these, so they took the cash on the hood and bought them. Waited the time there were told, and then listed them for sale. When I called about the vehicle, I was told the same thing.
I work (or I did pre virus) at Manheim Auto Auction, which is where I saw the row of Red G70's. I ended up getting mine for less than the same model at the auction.

We purchased a 2019 G70 3.3T Design (MSRP $49,800) with 70 miles for 40,100+taxes/tags. So 20% off MSRP is definitely possible.

Nice house you have there, Rob. :)

And a nice-looking G70, too. Beautiful red.

I'm sure you know this, but for anyone stumbling into the site on text searches, the basic 5-year/60,000 mile factory warranty is indeed transferable to subsequent owners. It's the 'extended' warranty on the drive train to 10 years/100,000 miles that's for the original owner only.

This is 100% correct. I purchased an additional 100k mile/10 year bumper to bumper on top of what was transferable.

Its impossible to find a genesis G70 2019 or 2020 in the bay area that is not overpriced.. The best i found is a G70 2019 base model for 36k after tax used 11K miles. The rest brand new 2019-2020 genesis base models in bay area are all over priced above 40K OTD. I'm looking to buy a used or new one 2019-2020 G70 white or black for about 35K OTD brand new or used if anyone knows where i can find one.

Just bought a 2019 3.3t Elite with 120 miles for $37,000. One of those promotional cars from the palm sprigs golf tournament, so basically new. Still has leather smell.

Just got my new G70. Purchased late May 2020. Here are the details:
2020 V6 Prestige, Vik Black
MSRP $52,400
Paid $45,100 before TTL (14% off MSRP)

Not an owner yet, but I will be. I am seriously shopping for a fully loaded 2020 G70 3.3 sport in Metro Atlanta.

The Costco price is currently $44000.

I also got a solid written quote from another dealer for $45000 (which was the advertised price), but I was able to get 10/100000 extended warranty down to 1699 for out-the-door price of $51000. They seemed ready to bargain more.

The third dealer is dysfunctional, and quoted $49000, which is ridiculous.

FWIW, the Kia dealer gave me a price of 41000 (not out-the-door) for a loaded Stinger with no negotiotion.

The Costco price for a 3.3 sport is not bad. Sticker should be around $52k+. My 2020 3.3 sport, last November I paid $43,373. That included incentives and Circle A certificate pricing at that time. Don’t let the dealer add a bunch of extra cost on you. My $43,373 was less TTL.

Since I live in Atlanta too, were you able to block them from adding on the crapwork (tinted windows, paint protection, ghetto bumper guards, etc.)?
