  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

Since I live in Atlanta too, were you able to block them from adding on the crapwork (tinted windows, paint protection, ghetto bumper guards, etc.)?

Hyundai of Cumming did not seem to have any crapwork added that I could see. It did include the bogus doc fee. Other g70 dealer quotes were verbal, and I can't get a formal written quote out of any of them except Cumming. I ask them to email the quote details, and they all say ok, but it never arrives. So. I think they may want to play car sales games.

I have been telling the sales people that I want out-the-door price, and that if they want to include crapwork in the price, I consider it worthless, and I only care about out-the-door price, and not silly math games.

I just got a verbal out-the-door of $47,671 quote, but it is not in writing so it could be bogus.

32k Out the Door in SoCal.

Just picked up a leftover new 2019 G70 3.3t awd for 29k out the door with a $9500 trade in. It's only a base one but it was a good deal. 6% sales tax in MD. Genesis had a 5k incentive. I also got $1000 for the conquest incentive and $500 first responder discount.

Picked up my Havana Red 2019 6MT yesterday in West Chester PA. Bought it CPO with 610 miles for $30997, I think I could have done a bit better at the negotiation table but I'm very satisfied with the car. Took a bath on my 2019 Jetta 6MT that I traded in at $9500, but I also hit a deer with that car and it was the base trim with no options.

I was told that the car was some sort of show/demo car that Genesis corporate put through a closed Hyundai/Genesis dealer auction which is how my dealer acquired it. The window sticker seems to back this up as it indicates that the car was sold to Manheim (MMAA). The car still had shipping film on parts of the trunk and interior when I drove it home as well as a small PDI road test sticker in the top corner of the windshield and the glovebox airbag notification hang tag which I have not removed.

It looks great next to my 89 Mercedes 560SL and is a complete blast to drive. Tomorrow I will mount the rear mud guards that came with the car and do a more through interior cleaning than what the dealer provided.

am going to look at a demo 2019 Genesis g70 3.3t advanced demo with 5k miles on it. It had an Msrp of $44890. How much pre incentive/rebate discount should I expect to get? Any insight or previous experience with demo pricing would be helpful. Thanks!

2019 models qualify for the 5000$ retail cash and you may qualify for other incentives such as conquest, valued owner, military or first responder etc. Demo cars tend to sell for considerably less than new cars, but this is my first time trying to buy a genesis car and I’m not sure what % off is doable. I just offered multiple dealers for a 30k OTD and 0% APR for a 2020 base model g70 2.0t as a starting point. Nonetheless.. Good luck!

My dealer was trying to sell me a car that a manager used for 5000 miles for only $600 off the exact car brand new. Lol. I went with new of course. Here are the rebates and incentives that are available right now. I was able to do the $5000 rebate, conquest and first responder. They couldn't do the $5000 off on the used one.

Hello. Sounds like you negotiated a fabulous deal. So if you don’t mind me asking, if I’m doing my math in reverse, them was $45,000 the original dealer price? What was the trim level? And thank you for your service to your community as a First Responder!!

It's just an Advanced. No other packages on it. It was around $47k MSRP. They listed it around $36,800 with the $5k Genesis rebate. It seemed like a good deal to begin with but they gave me way more than I expected on my trade in so that sealed the deal. My wife is actually the first responder. She's an EMT.

Appreciate the info. Give your wife a huge THANK YOU!

I ended up getting a 2019 G70 3.3t prestige demo for $35k. I qualified for the 1k conquest, 5k cash back, and $400 college grad. With Texas taxes and fees it ended up coming to around $37.5k otd.
Congratulations on the new car and your college graduation!

Hello all... I've been lurking a while, but finally pulled the trigger on a '20 Siberian Ice 3.3t RWD Sport. I'm in OK, so bought it at Genesis of Edmond, just north of OKC. Had a great experience there. They didn't try to do the typical dealership games. Just told me what rebates we could get, and basically waived the doc fee ($600) because the car already had about 700 miles on it (unfortunately, oh well). Paid $43,600 out the door, which included the Genesis Finance cash back (however much that was), conquest (owned an AMG up till last week), and first responder for my wife is a nurse.

Really impressed with the car so far!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the group. 2020 3.3. Sport would have stickered close to $52k so your out the door price was a good deal. Enjoy

Thank you! And yes you're right, about $8k off the sticker was a huge factor for the purchase. All the options, technology, performance can't really be matched at that price. Plus I think they just look sooo good, inside and out.

I guess I should post my deal here! Thanks to @r_spec, I managed to get Circle A plan pricing, along with $3500 on top of that, as a lease incentive. So, all in all, I got a completely loaded G70 for the MSRP of a 2.0T sport. The only thing I was upset about was that they marked up the money factor (.0037 vs .0077), which they would not budge on at all. :cautious:
