  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

No, it wasn't a typo.

Employee discount gets it down to 41k + motozuma ($500) + Hyundai Loyalty Discount ($1,000) = $39,781.80. This price doesn't include trading in my R-Spec.

Hi r_spec.
I would like to know how you got the motozuma and loyalty discount.
I am current Hyundai Employee and I was specifically notified that we cannot receive additional incentive/discount through Plan E. I have put screenshot of the announcement and certificate fine prints.

If you really received the deal, you were lucky the dealer made a mistake on their part:p

Sorry I was misinforned back then but did end up paying about the same amount.

I just picked up the my 2015 Genny with the tech package. The out-the-door price was $44,771 and that included the addition of wings on rear, wheel locks, first aid kit and trunk liner. The before taxes and fees prices was $$42,600. If you want to buy from the same NC dealer I did, let me know and I'll officially refer you to him which also helps me earn a $100 referral fee if you buy from him.

Picking my Parisian grey 3.8 Ultimate up on Monday. Paid 46k flat after 500 back military rebate. Wish they had competitors rebate. But 46 k for a car with a 51k sticker I am happy with. Oh and dealer is re badging for me as well.

What dealership? Assuming in Houston. ;)

Stirling McCall, was getting similar price quoted from North Freeway Hyundai, Both Hub Hyundai quoted a great price on car but added 2300 in dealer extras, I hate those tactics, so it came down to Sterling and North Freeway for me.

Only problem with my dealership choice is its a good 25 miles from my house.

Ron Carter is putting 2999 "appearance package" on their vehicles too... Not worth a trip there.

Traded in a 2013 Lexus ES for a 2015 AWD Demo car with 5000 miles with signature package. Lease price I got was $389 no money down for 36 months. They gave me $30K for Lexus.

Just curious, but how do they compare? I traded an 07 ES for my 2010 Genny and wonder how they compare now.

I have just had the Genesis for only 24 hours now, so not much driving time yet. So far, I like the touch screen much better than the mouse you must use for any screen input on the Lexus. The cabin noise in both seem about the same. I like the dash setup in the Genesis better. I don't like the Genesis DRL is a yellowish blob of a light and not the eyelashes. The Lexus DRL is better looking. The radio display and use on the Genesis is far more intuitive, useful, and better looking on the screen. That is all for now, may update in a few days.

Just put your lights on the parking light setting and you will have your eyelash DRLs.

You can get your car serviced at any dealer.

If I do this, won't the tail lights be lit. If so, it looks a little odd to run tail lights in the daytime?

What's odd about having rear DRLs? You've got them in the front.

Does that have to be turned on and off each time? I assume AUTO just turns the headlights on and off.

From what I have read if the switch is set to parking lights the lights will go out when you turn off the car and open the door to exit the car. The auto setting will turn the headlights on automatically when it is dark enough, or will keep the headlights off when there is enough light.

Roger, but if an owner wants eyelash DRL's it's the only way to have them.
