In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

I would be real wary about purchasing a 2015 with even 20K miles at this point. That would be a lot of miles on a still relatively new car.

The car has actually been out for over 16 months now, so 20K miles would actually not be too much if the car was an early model from last summer.

Hello all. First time poster.
I am looking at leasing a 2015 Genesis 3.8 RWD.
Looking at Tech package or possibly ultimate package.
36 months, 15k miles/yr
So looking at MSRP of $46,450 or $49,950 roughly.
At those MSRPs, what's a reasonable lease payment look like including tax? I like in FL so 6%
Also no trade in and ideally $0 down but that's negotiable if it's worth putting something down
Thanks for any input. Also is the ultimate package worth paying up for? And what about the logo, I see lots who state they had H replaced with Genesis wings. Is this something I should negotiate for?

Been following this forum for past 6 months, just joined today after purchasing 2015 V6 AWD Ultimate in Empire State Gray with black interior.
Had to get out of an ailing '06 Audi A8 quickly, I couldn't wait any longer for 2016's so I will have to survive without fog lights.

MSRP: $52,650
Price Paid OTD: $46,728

Will pick up at the dealer in 3 days.
This dealer has had the same four 2015 Genesis's on the lot for months, so maybe I could have done better, but I'm not a good negotiator.

Steve,

just wondering what dealer was this ? depending on the state this works out close to 43k for the car ? excl ttl

Obviously the end price will depend on the three major things I listed below but take a look at my post towards the middle of the last page. I just leased a Genesis with a $49K MSRP with zero down for $489/month although mine was for 12K miles/year. They also did pay my final payment of my current lease which doesn't sound like you'll have to deal with.

Major factors:
1. Your credit which will ultimately determine the interest rate (aka Money Factor) you pay.
2. What incentives you qualify for.
3. Your negotiating skills.

Hello All

I have a purchase offer of $45,712 on a '15 3.8AWD Ultimate (with all the typical accessories [cargo tray, bumper protector, etc]), after a bit of haggling and comparing to a local Hyundai competitor (includes a loyalty offer). MSRP $52,800.

Seems like a good price, but I wonder if I should push given the 16s are on the way. Any thoughts on this deal?

Depending on what state you are in the inventory of AWDs and their demand may be quite different (in San Jose, there is a glut of AWDs, and not sure who will buys these in the warmish weather here); the 2016s intros may drive prices further down on excess inventories of 2015s....

Planning to buy a new 2015 Genesis 3.8 Base Model and I would like to get some insight on what's a good price to negotiate for out the door? Thanks!

Purchased on 10/31 - end of month, Happy Halloween :)

2015 3.8 AWD Ultimate; white exterior, grey interior c/w rear bumper protection, wheel locks and first aid kit

Car was a demonstrator, with 3k miles on it...I considered it broken in - no issues or wear/tear whatsoever.

Price paid: $43,700 plus tax, title and license - went back and forth on price for a month, started at $47k and worked it down to that number. I got $1500 of discounts straight away then worked from there.

Happy with my purchase and had a good dealership experience.

If it has under 100 miles on it - then that might be a decent price. Less than 3 months ago I paid 40k flat for a CPO Ultimate with 9,500 on the ticker - and I think I did well.

Thanks stobak. It has 14 miles on it. I am going to try to get them down a bit lower. Every bit helps!

OK....well, I get to say that I can officially join all of you in Genesis ownership! I just closed the deal on the car above, Parisian Gray/Black. 32 miles on it, most from my test drives.

I was patient, pushed a bit, and am pleased with the deal I negotiated, especially for an AWD in snowy (today) Colorado. We ended the negotiation at $43,601. The MSRP was actually $52,915 with whatever they added on (not what I listed previously). This deal included $1000 in loyalty rebate, plus 5 Flex Cash coupons to get there. I learned about those here, and threw out that term during the negotiation, so I'm glad people have talked about them. In my case, it paid off going to a high volume dealer.

I have enjoyed lurking (mostly), and look forward to participating in forum discussions. Some of the things I have read scared me a bit, but every car has its issues, and this one feels like a phenomenal package all around, so I don't let that bother me. I considered all the German and Japanese options, but kept coming back to the Genesis.

Looking forward to bringing her home tomorrow night!

Off to change my profile....

Congrats. See you on the streets in Denver!

Almost as a rule people end up payng LESS than truecar projects.

2015 AWD Ultimate - DEMO 4K Miles

MSRP - $52,860 (Included all weather mats, mud guards, wheel locks, cargo tray, and First aid Kit)

Sale Price - $48,876

Discounts (Demo + Loyalty + Coupons + rebates) $4,750

Final Car Price (excluding tax, title, fees) = $44,126

What do you guys think?

just purchased 2015 ultimate Marrakesh with beige interior. Demo with 1600 miles and usual first aid, wheel locks, and cargo tray plus one tank of gas - list 50135 paid 43658 after military and conquest discounts. Dealer said he added window tint, but I wonder if it may have been part of original equipment.

12.9% discount from list. Not quite as good as some of the other purchases on this board. But, still quite happy with my new car.

Long time reader of this site (1 year), first time poster. The 2015 Genesis caught my eye at the North American International Auto Show last year and I instantly fell in love. I've been waiting for the right time to buy, both in cost and when I needed to buy a new car. Well, I finally pulled the trigger. I had long planned to buy a new 3.8 AWD Tech package Gen, and while I needed a new car, I couldn't quite get the price to where I needed it to be. The best price I negotiated was $42,500, but with the 2016s rolling out, I was hoping to do better (more like $40k). After I realized $40k was out of reach, I started looking at CPOs. I ended up getting a 3.8 AWD Ultimate for $37,500 (before TTL) with about 14K miles after searching long and hard for the best possible price considering a new one would have ran me north of $45K. I'm stoked to get the fully loaded Gen because the HUD is incredible and the wood in the interior is a very nice touch. I feel good about what I ended paying after extensive research and reading nearly every post on this site. As I write this, I can't wait to get behind the wheel again, awesome automobile! I look forward to contributing to this site in the future as I have learned a lot from others contributions.

Congrats and enjoy!

Hi All,

This is my first post, so go easy. I just bought a 2015 AWD Ultimate Blk/Blk. Pick it up in two days. Dealer gave me some incentive they had from HMA and gave me $12,531 off the car. So selling price was $40K and change. I nearly fell out of my chair. Car only has 8 miles on it. I want to thank you for the great posts I've been reading and hope to contribute some more in the near future
