If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Prices for 2015 Genesis

Finally....got my car today. Eckert Hyundai south of Denton sold me a 5.0 this afternoon. I highly recommend them, easy buying experience, no pressure or upsell crap. Looking forward to playing with my new toy tomorrow. Good luck to the rest of you, still 4 more buying days in the Genesis blowout!!!

Completed my deal today for 2015 3.8 with all the toys for $12k off.
I am told it has 33 miles. I am buying from out of state, as FL does not offer these incentives at this time.

Purchased in the DFW-area today. Will not post dealer name as they need to stay in business (and I called in a favor to make sure I got an off-the-charts deal)!

Final pricing:

2015 Genesis 3.8 RWD w/ Signature Package
MSRP $43,315
Purchase price prior to TTL: $29,638

Discount of $13,677.

TTL was nominal, no dealer-adds, and a very reasonable $125 doc fee. Minimal sales tax as I had the shelter of a $29k trade-in value to offset the $29.6 purchase price.

They gave me KBB Excellent on my trade (2013 Lexus GS350 base), so they weren't bending me over to offset the discount on the Genesis.

Also had numbers worked on a 2015 5.0 with an MSRP of $52,605 could have been had for $36,486....that is not a typo, and I don't qualify for any special rebates. NO DEALER ADDS!!

In the end just determined that being sub $30k on the 3.8 sig was just too good to pass up, and the 5.0 just didn't feel all that much stronger.

Don't trust E-pricing of $12k of 3.8s, and $15k of 5.0's, you can do better.

What are people's thoughts on a 2015 3.8 w/AWD Ult for $38K. Dealer Demo with 6K miles. Given all the discussion I am now thinking that the price should be lower around $36-37K if people are finding 2015's with the same specs (non dealer demo's) for $38K.

Thoughts?

That's still a pretty good deal. I was just offered a 3.8 AWD Ult Demo with 4K miles for $38.5K. I ended up going with a different color that I wanted more and just took a deal for $40,167 with cargo tray and AW mats and they waived the $350 processing fee so I'm just paying Tax, Tags, Title.

The other "pricing" thread isn't producing many $38K new 3.8 AWD Ultimates. I tired working 3 semi-local deals and the two others wouldn't beat the above price. I could probably hold out longer but I'm not sure how long it will take and I want the car for a couple longer family trips that are coming up shortly.

I'm seeing a large number of deals on the 5.0's out there. I've seeing them for as low as $37.2K, it's too bad I live in snow country and need an AWD vehicle.

Are the inventory levels of the 5.0's that high that dealers are slashing prices on their own (before the 2017's come out) or is Hyundai offering dealers incentives behind the scenes? Also does anyone think the 3.8's will be similarly discounted? I'm still sitting on a good offer ($38.5K for 3.8 ult w/6000K) but was hoping to squeeze out a little more at the end of the month or just wait till the end of the summer.

It's corporate offering the price cuts because of a glut of cars they can't get rid of. My '15 5.0 was actually made in July '14 and I just bought it 3 weeks ago. It's been sitting around for a long time.

In Texas at least the 5.0s are still $14K off sticker and the 3.8s are $12K off. The problem you start running into now is a lot of them have demo miles. But happy hunting!

At the prices for the 5.0, worth buying a set of snows with the savings for those in winter zones.

One thing that sucks is, even bring in or showing a local dealer the prices others are putting out there on the Genesis, the local dealer will not give you that price... I wonder why...

I was looking to get another Genesis for the wife and wile looking for deals I came across what appeared to be great deals in the same dealership I bought my Genesis. They have discounts of up to 11k of MSRP.....any thoughts as to what's wrong with this promotion

I picked mine up two weeks ago, it is a 2015 AWD 3.8 with Signature and Tech Packages, for $37,154 plus Illinois taxes. It is Caspian Black with Gray interior.

I'm new to the forum and from Nashville, TN! Just picked up a 15' RWD 3.8 V6 with the Signature Package for $31,000 (demo w/ 5,000) miles. Empire state gray and black interior. After trade, warranty increase, tax, and title - I paid $28,000. Very happy with the ride thus far! I definitely wanted the tech package as well. However, this deal was just too good to pass up.

Other dealers here have marked the 5.0 V8 to $36,000 to $38,000. I almost jumped, but the MPG led me back to the V6. Inventory is now in the single digits for both of our larger dealers in Middle TN.

My first impression is that I might be sticking with the Genesis brand for years to come. I had a Nissan and have been a big fan of Lexus.

I had a 2012 4.6 RWD which I loved, except for the fact that I didn't have AWD, which I need/want living in Illinois. So far, I am pleased with the 3.8 AWD, only that it does not have the same pickup as the 4.6, but that was to be expected. Overall, I am happy with the brand, and the service so far has been fantastic, they go out of their way to satisfy the customer.

I just picked up a 2015 5.0 without the ultimate package here in California. Empire State gray with black interior. They gave it to me for $14K off MSRP. 33 miles on the odometer. I checked the door tag and it was manufactured in January 2015. Sitting on the lot for over a year is a long time. No wonder they're offering such deals, but I'm happy with it. Great car.

If you don't mind me asking, what dealership in Cali did you go to?

I bought from Dublin Hyundai. I had to work them down on the price a bit even after getting a verbal commitment from them on the phone. If I was going to do it over again, I would buy from Stockton Hyundai. They advertise a no hassle price on their website and their remaining 2015 5.0s are all priced between $13,935 and $14,067 off MSRP. I went to Dublin Hyundai because they had Empire State Gray and Parisian gray in stock and I wanted to compare them side by side. Stockton only had Empire State gray (which is what I ended up selecting).
