  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The Hyundainews link breaks it all down for you. Thank You Mark for posting it.

Thanks for posting that information, really explains the pricing.

Your welcome Advocate225. I found the info at lunch today but it was 1:00pm and had to get back to work. Couldn't wait to get home and share with the forum members.

I am now trying to figure out how I can afford the 5.0 Ultimate package without going broke :) . I am waiting to hear back from my Hyundai contact.

I really wish for 51,500 that the 3.8 AWD Ultimate would include the fog lights...just seems so odd to not include that. There was a picture from the media drive in Arizona. It was a red sedan with the 3.8 wheels on it that showed the LED Fog Lights lit up not just the placeholder strip that you see on other pics. I hope it is at least something that you can get dealer installed after the fact. Hell or just give me regular old fog lights...

jcox12-I am in agreement. If the light stalk on left of steering wheel has secondary sectional detent for fog lights, then it may be possible for dealer to install aftermarket. Also may be possible to get the sill plates illuminated. Really do not like to make alterations to new car but may be the only alternative if we want these options.

Tompass agreed only time will tell...question is the lack of fog lights a deal breaker on a 51k car? I'm thinking if the test drive goes well I may forget about that fog light real quick lol

Adding OEM illuminated sill plates to a 2009-2014 model is a very easy DIY job.

For those who what to lease or are a current owner of a Hyundai vehicle, you qualify for a discount on the new 2015 Genesis.

2015 genesis - From $38,000
• Lease starting at $429/month for 36 months. $3,999 due at lease signing. Excludes registration, tax, title and license. (6/3/2014 - 6/30/2014)
• $1,000 Valued Owner Coupon Offer (6/3/2014 - 6/30/2014)

Unfortunately for me, I have to wait for the factory discounts to arrive.

Be glad you're not in Singapore. An article in today's Business Times announces that Hyundai is finally introducing the Genesis here. And the price -- adjusted to US dollars -- is expected to be "more than $160,000" (>SGD$200K). Hoo whee.

Given rampant pro-German badge snobbery (the percentage of under-powered, under-featured BMWs here exceeds the sum of Sonatas, Camrys and Accords combined in the US), it'll be interesting to see how Genesis fares.
