  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Question about purchasing and hyundai circle program

One of the dealers who said no additional incentives did offer up a couple of $500 customer cash coupons from his previous month's sales.

Don't really understand the confusion of the dealers on this issue as i am guessing there has got to be some Hyundai Circle program guidelines somewhere...

I'm noticing that the Hyundai Circle Discount isn't quite as good as the deal I'm seeing on TrueCar.com anyway. So I'm not even sure it's worth it at all in the first place...

That was my experience. And the TrueCar price, while a darned good price, was just a stating point for negotiating for me.

TrueCar is good enough that Consumer Reports, who sold their own pricing info analysis for years, is now opting to front-end an access to TrueCar. That's a compliment because Consumer Reports takes pride in the products and information they offer.

True, but keep in mind there's likely an affiliate program adding to the incentive...

Just to confirm, you CAN get the HMA incentives with the Circle Plan A pricing. Got some confusion with a few dealers, but finally got it confirmed.

If you do get the same dealer confusion, then just access the FAQ section of the HMA Circle program and its all in there...

The problem is getting the dealer to acknowledge that and apply the additional discount. In cases where a dealer says the additional discounts are not available for Hyundai Circle pricing, I suspect a dealer intends to process the discount, and plans on keeping the money for themselves. Not sure if there is much that can be done, since dealers are apparently not required to accept the Hyundai Circle price.

If this is the case, just go to a different dealer or buy something else - if for nothing else but out of principle. Because somebody is taking your money if you don't get the additional discount(s). Hyundai needs to learn how to deal with customers and this is probably a helpful way to teach them. In 155 years Hyundai will thank me for this important message.
