Anyone else with the 4.6 notice the sharp bump in power at the 4600rpm point? It's similar to the sharp VTEC crossover on tuned Honda's. At 4600rpm the intake induction noise sharply changes in pitch and the car pulls much harder. I recall seeing a stock dyno with a strange curve around that rpm region and its very noticeable with an aftermarket exhaust and intake. Does the 5.0 exhibit this behavior?
Here is the dyno:

has anyone actually had there car on a dyno after the r2c intake was installed to see if it really added any power? i installed mine on the car and it was great on the highway but i think in stop and go traffic it tends to get heat soaked and feel as if it looses power. has anyone else noticed this?
i did some google searches for intakes for the genesis and came across where it was mentioned in a thread. i contacted r2c performance and they said they have not been able to dyno this intake on the genesis sedan so they have no numbers for what this intake makes.
so no one actually has any info if this intake really does anything for our cars?
I added Magnaflows to my R2C. The sound is fantastic. The recently released sound clips of the new Ferrari-based engine on the Alfa Giulia reminded me of it.I have been monitoring this thread since I bough my 2011 4.6 Last year. I recently circled back and noticed that R2C has released this intake finally. I just ordered one this morning. I should have it tomorrow and will post pictures. I have a Borla Cat Back system installed and am excited to hear what it sounds like paired with the R2C intake, It already sounds like a Muscle Car. I plan on adding the MSA cat deletes soon also.
JohnR2C Thanks so much for your efforts on making this happen for our community.
Would the intake not be the same for the 3.8?
I need to take a closer look under my hood.
