Thanks Genesis50 for getting the price and everything sorted for other members. Let me know what you think when yours arrives.

I attempted some testing on the dyno on Wednesday night but with the snowfall here in Chicago mixed with the extreme cold temperatures I couldn't get the tires to stay hooked up on the dyno rollers, I kept getting wheel spin around 5000 RPM. I managed a run with 313 hp at the rear wheels (which is 2 more than a previous dyno test) even with a little wheel slip and a lower barometric pressure compared to the previous run, so things are looking promising. When conditions improve I will get it on there and get an actual stock vs R2C intake test session in that will show the real gains. But no matter the power improvement the aggressive growl the car has now is worth every penny.

Skip the drifting part I was telling about ... I was just there and almost got stuck! ~4 inches of old snow with ice and another 2 on top! Thank God for my snow tires!

I met with Glassman (cool guy ) today, rode with him in his 4.6 and the sound of the CAI inside the cabin is pretty cool, I liked that....kinda loud between 3-4k RPM for my taste, though.

Not sure if I am gonna go for it. I'll have to think about it.

Yeah not a problem. Install was smooth, No issues! You are correct it is louder than I would of originally thought. For me I like it because it's only when the engine is on mild to heavy load. Every day driving it is minnimal. There is a picture of the finished product on the rspec.

No it sounds fanrastic don't get me wrong. In have no issue with it, it just surprised me with how much louder it got. I'll be honest I do feel like the car pulls harder, I wasn't expecting much but once you take the stock box out you can see how restrictive it is. Now I remember reading someone that did multiple dyno runs with a short ram setup on an rspec and they were claiming 15whp power increase which if calculated to the crank considering drive train loss is somewhere in the neighborhood of 20hp. Impressive power increase for probably one of the easiest modifications you could do.

Haven't taken any video yet, if I find some free time this week I can put a quick video up. The install took me around 30 minutes. Its pretty straight forward. I will say be careful with the plastic clips. When you start moving things around mine had a tendency to launch themselves out and on the ground. Luckily I was able to recover them all.

Stock update! I just received an email from R2C saying there was an influx of orders today and there are only 4 systems remaining!!!!! I was told that more systems are already on order and should be available in 3 weeks, so if you're interested get yours now or possibly wait 3 weeks or so. They say thank you to the forum for spreading the word and helping this to become such a popular system!
