Replacement wheels: do I need centercaps?

Do I need to buy Genesis center caps or a) will the stock ones come off and b) will they fit? I'm thinking they should fit because of the wheel has to fit. If so, what size would I need? Would that depend on the wheel type?

The winged centre caps will only fit the original wheels unless you lucked out but your chances of getting hit by lightning are actually better. The stock ones pop out simply by pushing them out from the inside when the wheel is off.

Does anyone know what size centercaps fit into the 18 inch stock wheels? I was looking to but some some centercaps in case something happening to the originals. Are they measured in MM?
