Reported Issues with the Genesis GV60

It had to be something like that. I didn't touch anything and I couldn't stop it.

I got the same thing today getting into my car. My GFs profile didn't reset yet though.

Happened to me yesterday on the GV60 loaner that has yet to apply the OTA update. Lost all my Driver 1 settings and Fahrenheit changed to Celsius. Oddly my personal GV60 that I used the updater/usb system on last week is all right.

My wife's Kona EV did this today! Every preference went back to default. Had to shut off the lane-warnings, auto braking... ugh, what a pain.

Now I don't want to start my GV60. Those preferences took a long time to set up.
Guess I know what I'll be doing for most of the day tomorrow...

I mean the link when you click on this weekend’s NEW thread NEW called “lost user profile” From JjSoCal. In fact, I can’t find any of the other posts regarding the issue around the profiles on multiple Gen/Hyundai cars being deleted or reset to factory. Odd.

A glitch possibly ? God knows the text editor on here is atrocious.

Receive an email from Genesis about loosing profiles over the weekend, a issue on their end cause data to reset. If the profile are not restore to reset the profile, sorry for the inconvenience. So they are aware of it

We had the dreaded "Check User Authentication" error in our GV60P. Shortly after that the Facial Recognition became erratic and then stopped working. The circle would spin green but the locks would not activate. Then the FR setup line in the setup menu disappeared altogether. The car is currently sitting at the dealer waiting for a replacement FR module. No-one at the dealer seems to know why the menu changed and omitted FR altogether. I think it may have been a faulty OTA event or something like that that impacted the menu.
At least they gave us a brand new GV60A as a loaner

Has anyone noticed their car beeping occasionally ?

With the warm weather & the door to the garage open, I’ve noticed the car beeping/chirping twice, completely random, the lights flash as if the car was being locked but the key is on the washing machine & neither of us is near.

Was the car locked when it happened?
Maybe it thought you were by the lift gate? Do you have smart lift gate enabled?

Yes, the car was locked. I do have the smart lift gate enabled but it is only a single chirp/beep. As I mentioned, the key was about 15’ away sitting on the washer & the only reason I noticed was the interior door to the garage was open, seeing the flash of lights, otherwise I would have thought it was one of the other annoying devices about the house. It’s happened twice in the past two weeks, that I know of.
