Review of top end audio systems

What the hell? They didn't even review the 17 speaker system.

This is what I found funny. If you read it closely they indeed supposedly did have the tech package option on a v8 Genny. However, they still stated it only had 14 speakers which is wrong.
Regardless the sound is what they were judging and I honestly haven't had a pleasure of listening to the system in person but I read the different threads here and read some reviews as a system is something I enjoy (or not depending on car) in an automobile. The only thing I have actually watched with the radio playing in the genny is this video.

the test was published in 2009, the car that they tested was an 09. so maybe the newer come with the 17 speakers.

My '09 w/Tech had 17 speakers. Only change (I believe) is a power bump from 525 Watts to 605(?).

He reviewed the system that comes Tech Package alright. (He talks about DVD audio.) He just misspoke with respect to the number of speakers.

I just got my Genesis 4.6 and what a great car. The sound system is unreal. Better than most home ones. I was on the road today and listened to Jimi Hendrix's Isle of Wright as well a tribute DVD to Gram Parson's. Have a lot of concert DVD's and this is the place to play them. Truly outstanding.

Search for the thread called "Music For The Lexicon". Some great stuff in there.
And congrats on the new Genny. I had one for 27 months and called it my concert hall on wheels. It only gets better!

What do you mean, you "had one" ? You mean you didn't get a new one when the lease was up? I am crushed.

Hello old timer. Wondered where you disappeared to.

Graduated to the Horse after my 27 months were up. But I still participate in the Gen threads since we share the same engines, trannies, and sound systems.
Though we most certainly don't share the same suspensions.

I am quite sure that the horse suspension is way too soft for you. I still have the parts pulled from my early 2009 suspension (taken out during my upgrade) if you want them.
